well i am now on "Administrative Leave" from my job as the temp EAD stamp that i got from JFK ran out over the weekend. I feel like this whole thing is a catch 22...they dont want you to become a public charge and live off handouts from the state, but on the other hand, they make you wait forever before you can legally work! it is very frustrating!!

Oh well, not much we can do but sit and wait i guess! Im pretty sure if anything happens we will find out first through the mail...i spoke to someone at USCIS and they said that online updates, even when someone is working on your case, very rarely are updated and also that most cases never even show up on the online systems before they get worked on and eventually approved.

Just hope that they got our RFE and are working on it already, couldnt care less about the AP or greencard right now, i just want the EAD lol

I hear you! Loud and clear! I can't wait for the EAD so I can finally get the SSN and therefor be able to drive, get a State ID and WORK! Being in limbo is not fun...

you are so right!!! perfectly explained.

The Ead is all I want also, i dont think I will be very impatient when it comes to the green card. its just sitting at home is a real pain. I want to work and drive. I am also glad that you have a job that you can returne to.

But on the brigth side, my typing has improved, Thanks to VJ :P
