called uscis today was told it cold be another 60 days and on avg its 8 weeks which is hard to believe seeing the numbers on vj

Hey ~~~water~~~, i'm one of those you may have heard had to wait over 30 days to get their rejected applications back, and I'm not saying that is going to happen to you, I just wanted to tell you what happened in our case....after 30 days had passed I scheduled an infopass and they told me basically the same thing they told you (wait longer)....38 days after the package had been originally received, we got it back, rejected due to missing signature on I-130 (I know, dumb mistake).....BUT I have seen other cases where it just took that long for the checks to clear and the NOAs to be produced.....so, really, at this point, it can go either way.....just keep checking ur bank account and ur mailbox.....unfortunately, there is nothing you can do (at least that I know of) but wait (believe me, I know how frustrating that is to hear)....good luck!!

And I sent in the RFE today. I sent in the 2007 taxes & W2; a letter of employment; and 6 months of paystubs. So thank goodness, my wonderful husband worked hard last night and this morning, getting all the paper work together.

Got letter from ex-employer of my husband!!! Finally!! and immediately send RFE letter back too So Nana good luck to both of us

Wow..looks like things are moving right along for all of us! For those of you who've gotten RFE's, lets hope they're as speedy at processing as you were sending back the info!

We had our biometrics yesterday at 8am. (Wish they would've had walk in service like some of you others had so we could've gotten it done earlier, but oh well!) They were fast, easy and friendly..about 10 min total, so check that off of our list of things to do! And when we got home, we were finally able to see our AOS case online as well as a touch for the EAD.

So, Anthony_Julie, please update me on the list and I thank you in advance!

I really feel your pain, when I filed the I-130, it took 4 monthes to get a receipt notice. I panicked, and cried, then one day it was finally in the mail, I was actually preparing to refile a new application. Just hand in there, I realize that we all keep telling you that! But I am positive that you will receive someething soon! And if you ever feel like complaining, dont hesitate to pm me, (sometimes we just need to vent) ---Nancy

I also got my letter for biometrics in the mail today set for the apr. 25th @ 8:30am Yay!!

things a moving along pretty smooth on my side Im soo excited!! so far NO RFEs and that makes me happy!....1 downside tho...Im still not able to view my stats online with the reciept # that was assigned to my case!but Im not worried I feel that everything is gonna be ok and to just be patient!!!!

My I-485 and I-765 were last touched on the date of the biometrics (4/2) Our cases have not been touched since...

Should I be worried, or is this normal?

Hello! That looks normal to me. Mine was touched the very same day of my biometrics and touched again the next day. Nothing to worry!

We also had some good news today. We received our biometrics letter set for the 29th of this month.
