AOS FILERS - March 2008

TO ALL MARCH FILERS:

Just thought it would be great to start with the thread for all AOS March filers. We will submit our AOS application on Monday (March3). So, with all the rest who are filing this March come and sign up! Good luck to all MARCH FILERS!

Just got my NOAs for my I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131!!!

Now for some reason they mention biometrics in two of the NOAs (I-485 and I-765) does this mean they will send me to Biometrics twice? I just assumed since I enclosed the aforementioned applications in the same package when I posted my AOS it would all be related to the same applicant.

Nonetheless this is all good news, at least i know they got the application alright!

That's quick and indeed a very good news! Anyway, did the NOAs show the same dates of biometrics schedule? Kinda curious now. Well, hope you can update us with any information that you might get soon with regards to this matter. Oh, we wish we will have ours NOAs soon. Getting so excited everyday!

Thanks so much! I'm sure you will be getting your NOAs soon! It seems USCIS are going through things quite fast this month. I only got the NOAs for the application forms I enclosed with my AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131) in two of the NOAs (I-485 and I-765) they mention the same information which is written as following:

The above information has been received. Please notify us immediately if any of the above information is incorrect. If you find it necessary to contact this office in writing you must include a copy of this receipt with your inquiry.

BIOMETRICS-

The next step is to have your biometrics taken, if required, at a US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Application Support Centre (ASC).

PLEASE NOTE-

USCIS WILL SCHEDULE YOUR BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT. You will be receiving an appointment notice with a specific time, date and place where you will have your fingerprints and/or photos taken.

WHAT TO BRING TO Your Appointment-

Please bring this letter and your photo identification to your appointment. Acceptable kinds of photo identification are:

• a passport or national photo identification issued by your country,

• a driver's license,

• a military photo identification, or

• a state-issued photo identification card.

If you don't bring this letter and photo identification, we cannot process you.

Please bring a copy of all receipts notices received from USCIS in relation to your current application for benefits.

The rest of the letter explains about how to contact the local office for processing times (it just gives a 1-800 number) and how you can check your status online by visiting visit www.uscis.gov. However when I tried checking for mine it came out as "error" since the numbers I could find on my NOAs did not start with EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC as mention on the USCIS website. And to be honest i don't really know what this means. My receipt number starts with MSC.

I'm assuming now next step is to wait for the Biometrics appointment letter.

Checked our bank account sgain.. and nothing .. also started worring that we attached only 4 photos and not 6 .... Hopefully we will not get RFE because of that
