ugh! the reason my I485 case isn't available online yet is because i have an RFE. Got a letter that I should send the I-693 (medical) along with the I485. I didnt submit it yet because I read somewhere (another forum) that you can bring it on your interview day, as someone failed to submit it and got a letter from USCIS that she can just bring it on her interview date.

I guess this is a good thing though, as it shows that USCIS is now well organized on processing our cases...

i didnt send a medical either,as when i had the medical test in Morocco the stupid dr there didnt tell me anything about records i mean that i can have a copy of the record, at that time i didnt know u have to get a copy i thought the dr just sends the medical to the consulate (like the email from consulate told me) anyway i ended up by sending the AOs without medical and i wrote a letter to whom it may concern saying that the medical record is in the yellow envolop i gave the the POE in NewYork.i think i will get a RFE.

Did you get a delivery confirmation from the post office or courier that you used? If not, start there first. If so, the number is the same as it was when you filed you I-129f: 1-800-375-5283. Good luck!

If you had your medical abroad, in less than a year, you do not need it for AOS. The only thing you need is the vaccination supplement I-693A...and that's it. I have heard of cases though that the original medical exam (the one in the yellow envelope) given at the POE gets lost in the process. Maybe that's what happened in her case. I did not send a medical either, I only sent the vaccination supplement. So you might be ok.

The same thing happened with me. I did the medical exam in Brazil and the I-485 instructions say you don't need to take another exam if you took one within a year. So, on my cover letter I wrote the same as you. I didn't get any RFE until now...and hopefully won't. It didn't looked to me that the doctor didn't know I should have a copy. He put everything on a sealed envelope and gave me so I could take to the interview. And I am a class B.

If you had your medical abroad, in less than a year, you do not need it for AOS. The only thing you need is the vaccination supplement I-693A...and that's it. I have heard of cases though that the original medical exam (the one in the yellow envelope) given at the POE gets lost in the process. Maybe that's what happened in her case. I did not send a medical either, I only sent the vaccination supplement. So you might be ok.

I updated all my vaccines before my medical appointment and I believe the doc registered that on those forms he had, or maybe the supplement form itself. I read somewhere while searching for this form that the doctor was supposed to give us that...but I got nothing...soooo...I don't know...it's all so confusing sometimes... .

You should be ok then. If the doctor wrote on the medical exam that you already had the vaccinations, then you don't need the supplement.

I sent the supplement because my husband did not take his vaccinations records to the medical exam in Mexico. So we got the vaccination supplement completed with a civil surgeon, here in the US.

Good luck...and hopefully we won't get an RFE.

so i got my NOA's and all with my case numbers... however, i can only view 3 of them (i-130, i-131, i-765)... i can't view my I-485 status online....

it gives me these errors:

* Customer Portfolio Insert Failed

* Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the app receipt number.

is that normal? it has been about a month since i filed.

Ok guys, it has officially been a month since the Chicago lockbox has received our application ... check still has not been cashed!!!!

Is it worth my trying to get in contact with the USCIS or perhaps even go to a regional office? Are we the only ones in this position?
