Thanks for the warm wishes guys! Hopefully, by the end of this month the EAD will be on its way. I am getting so excited to do more productive things and start a career that will give me a meaningful local experience. It's been hard to be out of work for months especially so that you strongly desire to contribute to the income. However, the waiting will not be long and soon enough everything will be easy on us. Things can only be better each day and every tomorrow promises beautiful experiences. We just have to continue to sail on...

Thats exactly how I feel, I cant wait to feel like a partener, instead of a consumer! I also cant wait to have a career and take in all the wonderful opportunity this country has to offer. I already took a dental assisting class and got my radiation license, so I am so anxious and ready. As you said things will only get better. God willing!

That's funny...i just realized reading your post that what I see online is just my AOS status. I don't see yet the AP and the EAD......yet, hopefully. I really would like to visit Brazil in July...and I belive I will. let's just keep the faith about all that concerns us, right folks? Worrying won't change a thing.

Ah...now I am embarassed of my last post....

All my cases are online!!! I just haven't seen the AP and EAD because I haven't realized that on their NOAs they had different receipt numbers (Duhhh! ) But it's all good...it finally hit me this morning and I added them to my portifolio account....and it also says that all the 3 of them are at the National Benefits Center.

Ah...now I am embarassed of my last post....

All my cases are online!!! I just haven't seen the AP and EAD because I haven't realized that on their NOAs they had different receipt numbers (Duhhh! ) But it's all good...it finally hit me this morning and I added them to my portifolio account....and it also says that all the 3 of them are at the National Benefits Center.

Wow..lucky you! We have almost identical timelines, but I can only see my AP & EAD (no AOS: I-485) and so far..no touches or anything..just "we sent you notice..blah..blah..blah" We tried to see if we could walk in to do our biometrics early, but not here..only if you're military So we have to wait until the 10th. Oh well, just another week to wait at this point. Maybe they'll have the AOS online and transfer it once we finish the biometrics.

First of all congratulations to all of you who got their cases either transferred, online, NOAs, Biometrics, etc... I'm very happy for you all

Another month and hopefully things will get moving along just like they did last month. On a funny note, I had a terrible nightmare last night, I had a dream about immigrations or something and things going horribly wrong... Needless to say i woke up with an asthma attack... Gosh! I'm such a muppet!

The people were so late we were like 15-20 mins late we got so lost....but they took us right in and everything was done in 15 mins!

That's great nana! So, when you get the EAD you can start applying right away or I might guess you've already registered in a temp agency or something of that sort. I am planning to take that route as well so it will somehow make the job hunting quicker. Well, I wish all of us will be able to land a job soon after getting our EADs.

I also just found out googling National Benefits Center (NBC) and it seems to be THE OFFICE of the Chicago Lockbox address....so my cases are still at the same place where they were sent to and received.

Biometrics are next week and I hope to get news about transfer soon....let's see.

Hello Sara! Just had my biometrics yesterday and they only got my fingerprints & photograph for both the I-485 & I-765. Hope this answers your questions.Good luck for tomorrow!

Sara it is just fingerprints and photograph usually in out in about 15 minutes at most places by the sounds of it. My notice for Biometrics stated it was for both EAD and AOS.

Yeah, we received both delivery confirmation as well as the return receipt (the green postcard) from the USPS for our Chicago bound package. Is anyone else still waiting? Been reading earlier posts of this thread. Seems like most have received at least their NOA.

ALSO... not sure why my timeline doesn't post along with my postings. Is there a box somewhere that I'm not checking? Or are people simply cutting and pasting their timelines from their profile page??

Thanks both Tracy and Rhosie!!! I feel better now I am usually a pretty patient and calm victim of USCIS, but then when we get close to any step I need to know exactly what to expect!

We got employment verification from current employer... but still waiting from previous.... We need it as my husband changed his job 1 month ago.... ahhhh!!! Tomorrow we are going to local USCIS office for bio. appointment + to get my driving license with married name at local DMV ...
