Thanks so much for the replies and support for my posting. It's at least comforting to hear that there are a few others in February and March that have taken over a month.

Nana...where did you see that info?

I just called the 800 customer service number on the I-485 instructions and an attendant told me to try and sit tight for another week. They officially mention that it can take at least 30 days to receive an NOA. Kind of strange when so many others receive theirs so quickly. I hope that doesn't mean that they've found anything wrong or that an RFE is coming our way. If so, I'm not sure why. We've been fairly expedient and overly-thorough in this process so far. We included 6 passport photos and approached the AOS, EAD, and AP as if they were three separate .

Guess we'll wait a bit longer before I go calling a bunch of other numbers. Don't think we have a choice. Just annoying to think there's nothing we can do.

but I did notice from the chart that is posted by anthony julie that from march filers there are still some people that have filed in the begining of the month that still have not received their NOA's. Iam sure you will get it soon!!

Yah, very frustrating indeed. Anyway, I've noticed that some of the posters have been out lately and never updated their cases since they last logged in so the list of anthonyjulie might not be updated. I guess when they'll be online soon we will hear from them.

Request for evidence

on form 1-864a they need more proof of current income other than the taxes and w2s we sent.

If we send his pay stubs for the last 6 months do you think that will be enough??

...I hate having to ask my inlaws for more its such a pain!

received RFE... we need to send more information with I-864... same as yours.... proof of current income + this year taxes....

Hi all,

First time poster here into the March AOS Filers group. We sent the package to USCIS Chicago lockbox for honey ko and 3 kids on March 14th, USPS Priority mail, return receipt requested. We tracked it via USPS and it was delivered to Chicago on March 16th. Since then, nothing.....

No NOA1(s)

No return receipt

No checks cashed

I can feel the tension starting all over again. At least reading through the last few pages of this thread tells me we're not alone.

same with us We sent it in on the 12th no word yet

except we just received the return receipt last friday

Thank you guys ... my husband is gonna call them today and ask what they need from us, but they asked for tax documents of the most recent year and employment verification letter... as we submitted 2006 tax year papers, we guess they need 2007.. .... our co-sponsor's 2007 taxes papers will be ready only in the end of April ..... so hopefully they will need only letter of employment verification from my co-sponsor (my sister in-law) and my husband... so let's see what is gonna happened.... but believe me this letter made me even crying.... thanks God I have such an understandable husband who supported me... so hopefully we will send everything by the end of this week...

We are new on this visa journey site ! We mailed our aos package to chicago lock box on march 2 and still have not got our noa or checks cashed ! It is very frustrating ! I called uscis and asked them if i should be concerned and the lady said call back after it has been 90 days since filed ! very frustrating !

Too bad to hear that Very frustrating indeed. But don't lose heart and continue to wait as there are others who are in the same situation. I believe that you already communicated to the proper authorities and have done your part so far. As for now, you can do nothing but wait and continue to be patient. It will come soon!
