We mailed our AOS/AP/EAD package to the Chicago Lockbox on March 4th.

Haven't heard anything back.

Sorry, if this is the case then by this time you should supposedly have your NOAs and the bioemetrics appointment. Perhaps the USCIS was still reviewing for the completeness of your paperworks. This is an unusual case for March filers since all the rest who filed far behind you have been progressing so quickly and this made it alarming. However, you can continue to wait for a couple of days and if nothing happens then you should act appropriately.

From what it looks like, five people that filed before the 4th, still havn't received their NOA. So you are not alone. Hang in there.

Hello Nana,

Yeah, we received both delivery confirmation as well as the return receipt (the green postcard) from the USPS for our Chicago bound package. Is anyone else still waiting? Been reading earlier posts of this thread. Seems like most have received at least their NOA.

ALSO... not sure why my timeline doesn't post along with my postings. Is there a box somewhere that I'm not checking? Or are people simply cutting and pasting their timelines from their profile page??

I saw your timeline but nana might be referring to a timeline written in the forum signature for easy viewing. Anyway, in order to do that just click my assistant at the top right of the page and click edit forums signature and you can write your timeline there. Hope this helps.

We mailed our package to NY on March 4th.

QUESTION:

Has anyone received their first NOA??? Unless I'm reading it wrong, the statistics page says that people have averaged receiving their first notice in 10-13 days. We're coming up on 4 weeks now and are starting to get nervous. We received the delivery confirmation and return receipt in the mail, no NOA. And our check has yet to be cashed.

Has anyone received anything back??

Good luck Elmira! I will be having my biometrics tomorrow. Wish me luck! I am hoping it will go well and I also received the transfer notice in the mail last Saturday though I still didn't receive a note from the CSC acknowledging receipt of my case. Just have to wait then.

So we have been waiting a while for the biometrics appointment letter. I peeked in the mailbox this morning and didn´t expect anything there since it was still too early for the mailman to come and there was nothing there yesterday, but believe it or not the letter was there. Looked at the stamp and it was sent on 24th so I don´t know why we received it on 31st. Anyway, the appointment is for this Saturday 04/05. Which is great, but it´s not the best time cuz I was already supposed to be somewhere else. So I guess we will try to go there on Friday? I read somebody tried to go some earlier day prior to their appointment and the biometrics were taken...

I was also schedueled on 4/05, but I did my bio's the day after receiving my notice. Another step closer!

First time poster here into the March AOS Filers group. We sent the package to USCIS Chicago lockbox for honey ko and 3 kids on March 14th, USPS Priority mail, return receipt requested. We tracked it via USPS and it was delivered to Chicago on March 16th. Since then, nothing.....

No checks cashed

I can feel the tension starting all over again. At least reading through the last few pages of this thread tells me we're not alone.

Keep an eye on the February filers also as there are some that took a month to get NOA1's. Unfortunately patience is still needed, ugg. Hope you hear something soon.

Thanks so much for the replies and support for my posting. It's at least comforting to hear that there are a few others in February and March that have taken over a month.

Nana...where did you see that info?

I just called the 800 customer service number on the I-485 instructions and an attendant told me to try and sit tight for another week. They officially mention that it can take at least 30 days to receive an NOA. Kind of strange when so many others receive theirs so quickly. I hope that doesn't mean that they've found anything wrong or that an RFE is coming our way. If so, I'm not sure why. We've been fairly expedient and overly-thorough in this process so far. We included 6 passport photos and approached the AOS, EAD, and AP as if they were three separate .

Guess we'll wait a bit longer before I go calling a bunch of other numbers. Don't think we have a choice. Just annoying to think there's nothing we can do.
