We mailed our package to NY on March 4th.

QUESTION:

Has anyone received their first NOA??? Unless I'm reading it wrong, the statistics page says that people have averaged receiving their first notice in 10-13 days. We're coming up on 4 weeks now and are starting to get nervous. We received the delivery confirmation and return receipt in the mail, no NOA. And our check has yet to be cashed.

Has anyone received anything back??

We mailed our AOS to Chicago on 3/12, it was rec'd on 3/14, we rec'd our NOA's on 3/21 dated 3/18. Why did you send you paperwork to NY? I thought they all went to Chicago. I'll have to go look that up!

Why the long wait?Did you file for an AOS based on your marriage to a USC? If yes, then your application should be submitted to Chicago. Hope you will be able to check on this and maybe this was the reason why you still didn't receive your NOAs and your check not cashed yet. Let us know when you got news about the progress of your case. Best of luck!

Hello Nana,

Yeah, we received both delivery confirmation as well as the return receipt (the green postcard) from the USPS for our Chicago bound package. Is anyone else still waiting? Been reading earlier posts of this thread. Seems like most have received at least their NOA.

ALSO... not sure why my timeline doesn't post along with my postings. Is there a box somewhere that I'm not checking? Or are people simply cutting and pasting their timelines from their profile page??
