Yehey March filers !!my other half will be here on March 11, and we are planning to file the AOS and everything on March 17..we are ready to roll!! ..BTW, thanks for all who post their check list..that's huge help for us!!

Hi everyone, I'm hoping to mail everything out on Monday, but I noticed there was a change to the I-131 as of yesterday, and it's the form I'm a bit confused about so any advice would be appreciated. On the vj guide sample on part 2 they check box "d" but it's not filled out anywhere else on the form as advanced parole and we don't have an actual "intended date of departure" Part 3 so how do you fill out that part and part 4? Unfortunately, my crappy computer here at work keeps freezing every time I try to download the instructions for this form..can anyone tell me? Thanks

just wanted to report in that USCIS received our package in Chicago yesterday morning! here we go!!!! Come on USCIS, cash that check, NOA1.....we need EAD!!!!!!

Do you think cheering helps?? I figure I have to while I am still feeling postive about the whole thing, because later on it may get ugly

Yeah,right Sara! Cheer on! I have been calling WU since Wednesday to track our money order. Hopefully, they can cash it soon since I am too anxious to work and so I need the EAD. Anyway, let's just be positive!

Mailed our AOS to chicago lockbox today (March 7th)...Hoping they will receive it on Monday! We got delivery confirmation too, I can't stand not being able to see where it is at all times

Question here:

My other half did not receive a TD shot in the Philippines when he did his medical examination. They said just get the TD shot here in the US. My question is, can we just submitt his DS-3025(vacination record) without the TD shot in supplement for I-693A or we need to have his TD shot then go to civil surgeon for us to have the I-693..I am really confuse on this part . Thanks and I appreciate the response!

Here we were confused too... Doctor in Kazkhstan told me same- all vacination needed you will get in US... then after, before we sent our AOS package, we called to USCIS and asked if I need to get my medical as I came with K-1, and they have a copy of my medical already... but they told me that medical exam is usually valid for 3 months only (because TB and HIV tests are valid for 3 months) + I need some additional shots .. therefore I need to get a new one and send it with AOS package... we paid $250 and got a new sealed enevelope ...

So we are still confused... some people told us to do.. and some people told us not to do.... So we did it just in case... Good luck!

The safest way is to get the TD shot before going to the CS to have your vaccinations transferred. Its better than an RFE, right?If it's not gonna hurt you, do so. Just a thought

Based on the I-485 General Instructions, under INITIAL EVIDENCE,p.4, item #8; "If you are a K-1 visa fiance(e) or K2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the non-immigrant visa, you ONLY need to submit a vaccination supplement with your adjustment of status application." This expressly states that there's no need to undergo the medical again if it's taken within the past year and sorry to hear that you have to spend another $250 for that.
