AOS APPROVED!!!

Hi Everyone! I was just approved on my AOS. I was interviewed yesterday in Los Angeles Federal Bldg.

The lady was nice. We were just interviewed for about less than 15minutes. She just checked all the requirements.

Then she gave me the approval letter. My wife and I were so happy. Hopefully we can get the 10yr green card since

we've been married for over 3yrs now.

If you are going to LA for interview please do not bring your camera with you. Leave it in the car.

May 31, 2007 - Mailed I-129F to Nebraska

Oct. 22, 2007 - NOA2 Hard Copy received!! No email/website update.

Nov. 16, 2007 - Paperwork found & received by NVC!

Jan. 7, 2008 - Finally got the interview date

Jan. 28, 2008 - Interview!! Approved!!!

Feb. 12, 2008 - Arrives in USA!!!

Feb. 18, 2008 - Wedding Day!!!!!!

Feb. 19, 2008 - Apply for SSN

Mar. 12, 2008 - Packet mailed (AOS, EAD, & AP)

AOS APPROVED!!!

Congrats MALAKAS!!! Well, hopefully you do get the 10 year GC...however, I think you need to be married for 5 years in order to get the 10 year GC....Not sure though. If someone knows, please post.

Just an update: got a much needed touch a few days ago (10/09)...I know it doesn't mean a thing but I'm glad to see that my file isn't in a storage room somewhere in area 51...maybe they willl get this thing figured out before the end of the year! that would be great...

I hope it's a sign that they sent out your interview letter! I got mine almost 3 weeks ago! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! :thumbs:

Hey Everyone, I havent been around in awhile i've been super busy with school. But Adam got his EAD in the mail around the end of September and has been interviewing now so hopefully something will come up soon. There isnt too much to update but we havent had any touches on the 485 or gotten any interview letters. But I guess that would be expected since overall things were held up with the EAD. However, since we have no idea how long the process will take we did decide to file for a travel document which was received by the USCIS on Oct 13th and its up on the online portfolio and was touched yesterday. Since we did it ourselves and arent dealing with the lawyer I hope that this wont have any roadblocks, especially since the form was so short and simple.

Well we were approved at our AOS interview sep 22nd but still havent heard anything from them or received any emails or anything in the mail.

Called uscis today and they told me that the green card should arrive within 45 days!

I just cant wait for this whole thing to be done with, it never goes smoothly!!

June 20th 2007.....I-129f Sent to CSC!

July 7th 2007....NOA1

November 8th....NOA2

December 8th.....Packet 3 Received (Sent back 10th)

January 8th.....Packet 4 Received

January 16th.....Interview in London

January 20th....Flight to AZ via JFK, received temp EAD

February 29th...Civil Ceremony

March 10th...I485, I765 & I131 sent to Chicago

March 22nd....Received NOA for I485, I131 & I765 (All dated March 18th)

March 24th....Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (dated March 20th)

So I just posted yesterday about how there was absolutely nothing going on...annnnd

Adam just called me to tell me we got the interview letter in the mail!!!!!!!!!!

November 17th @ 10am in Mount Laurel New Jersey.

I'm really nervous.

We have LOTS of evidence collecting to do.

03-10-08 NOAs for I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131 received
