Please Help!

We filed for AOS on March 5th, and on March 13th we received the receipt notice. Ok since then no updates on the website and no letter in the mail but... last week... World Relief, ( the org. that helped us with our papers) called Adam and told him that they received a copy of an interview date letter and we should be getting ours in the mail. Its already June 7th and no letter for interview date in the mail. I called USCIS and they said they dont have any update about sending anything... So I called World Relief and they said we could come pick up their copy of the interview letter.

IS that normal? why wouldnt we have gotten the interview letter before World Relief? and will it be a problem if we go to the interview with only the interview letter copy since we didnt get ours in the mail ? Did any one else go thru that issue before?

Congratulations!!!! As for us... I resent everything today as a reply to RFE.... We needed to resign I-864 + we added my income + we included some additional papers as a copy of our bank statements including bank statements of joint sponsor... so hopefully we will hear something soon.. we needed to wait for my boss return from vacation so he signed my employment verification letter... we are still upset that USCIS asked everything again what we sent with original package.... sorry I haven't been online for a long time as I was extremelly busy.... Congratulations again to everyone who got approval... so I guess I am the last one without approval

I really think that you'll get it within 2-3 weeks or less. You were a day after me.

Well, we got a letter today saying that we have an interview on September 5. (No touch on the file -- odd.) My guy is annoyed -- he was hoping that we'd just get transferred and get the GC shortly thereafter, but I told him it's the luck of the draw, and September will be here before we know it.

So at least there is some progress! (Slow and stately, but progress nonetheless!)

Trust me...you're not the last. Some of us have gotten no touches, transfers or interview letters. Come on USCIS... what's going on??

YEP, you are NOT alone. There are still many of us waiting...this is getting frustrated.

Do you think it would help if we make an info pass appointment to inquire on our cases? Or would it only be waste of time?

I made an infopass appointment the other week to see about that and just got told you are "early" in the process... and that it would take as long as it would tkae basically. But at least i found out it was in the name check stage still at the time. But i think it might just depend on the officer talking with you as to how helpful they are.
