Whooohoo! Green Card in hands yesterday morning. Wow I'm impressed with how fast it was. I got the approval on June 3rd. They mailed it on June 6th and yesterday.....it was there! The welcoming notice and the GC!!!! And it is all correct, no typo errors or anything else.... :dance:

Now it's time to dance and to drive!!!!

Same here. I feel like it may be there just collecting dust! We received a touch about a month ago and nothing since then. I hope they haven't just put it in the back of the pile or that the worker hasn't gone on vacation or something. I look at the website desperately every single day. Congrats to those that have progressed thus far.

Actually you had 8 touches between your CSC transfer and your AOS approval. I've only had three touches since the CSC transfer.

Me too. No updates or whatsoever since Biometrics ...

01/2003: Came to US(F1 visa)

02/2006: Started dating with my USC husband in CA.

06/2006: He moved to IL. I was on OPT (F1 at that time)

10/2006: I relocated to IL, and moved in with my husband.

09/2007: OPT ended. I went out of the US.

10/2007: I came back to the US on H1B.

01/2008: We got married.

02/07/2008: We filed I130/I485 package to USCIS

03/07/2008: NOA for all applications

03/27/2008: Fingerprinting was done.

04/08/2008: I got AP in the mail.

04/15/2008: I got EAD in the mail.

I have never applied b4 so Im not sure what are the requirements.

Yes!! I received the Interview letter in the mail...I'm not sure as to were my case is at the moment but I think they will transfer it to my local office soon if they havent already done so !!

I applied for SSN today and I got in my Marriage Name, eventhough my EAD is in Maiden....Im supper happy,now I have to see if the IO will change my name at the interview from Maiden to Marriage....I hope so!!

Thank you!! yeah I was worried I thought I wouldn't get an Interview until the end of the year...that's how long I estimated! but to my suprise I got it before then and Ive been doing alot of research on the background/name check thingy.....not sure how it works but I read on some other forums that people have been approved but been waiting for pending name checks for over two years so hopefully for me they already check mine and get a "clear" before the interview...I'm home sick and my older sister just had her first baby and I wasn't there I didnt applied for AP because I overstayed way pass the 180 days and was definately subject to the 10 years ban! so I decided to wait hopefully I will see my first neice before she turns 18 lol!!

I'm not a last minute person, so I want to make sure I have everything ready for when the day comes!!!....NERVOUS?? hell yeah but I know everything will be okay as long as I can prove to the IO that our marriage is bona fide which it is!!

You are more than fine with all of that. I'd suggest you get one of those accordion folder things so that everything would be nicely in place so that you can find whatever you want at a moment's notice during the interview.
