CONGRATS on the approvals!!

I received my EAD and I want to go apply for SSN can anyone tell me what document(s) to bring with me??

I have never applied b4 so Im not sure what are the requirements.

You need you passport, marriage license (to have the card in your married name), your EAD and just in case make sure your i-94 is in there.

I think they might not need the I-94 if it´s already expired

Whooohoo! Green Card in hands yesterday morning. Wow I'm impressed with how fast it was. I got the approval on June 3rd. They mailed it on June 6th and yesterday.....it was there! The welcoming notice and the GC!!!! And it is all correct, no typo errors or anything else.... :dance:

Now it's time to dance and to drive!!!!

Yea!! Happy dance time for sure!!

Ccongratulations!!! I'm really happy for you. I wish I would get even a touch..just to know that someone has looked at it.

Whooohoo! Green Card in hands yesterday morning. Wow I'm impressed with how fast it was. I got the approval on June 3rd. They mailed it on June 6th and yesterday.....it was there! The welcoming notice and the GC!!!! And it is all correct, no typo errors or anything else.... :dance:

Same here. I feel like it may be there just collecting dust! We received a touch about a month ago and nothing since then. I hope they haven't just put it in the back of the pile or that the worker hasn't gone on vacation or something. I look at the website desperately every single day. Congrats to those that have progressed thus far.

Actually you had 8 touches between your CSC transfer and your AOS approval. I've only had three touches since the CSC transfer.

Wow, what is happening??? When I filed my AOS I decided not to come here (VJ) much and not to sign up for e-mail updates. I didn't want to stress now that my wife is by my side. And to my surprise she has her green card in hand in less than 3 months. she started working last week and got the card 2 days later. we never even had an interview!!! Is that normal? Just reading a couple posts here it looks like I'm not alone. Is USCIS getting their act together?

If I'm not mistaking, there are quite a few of us who haven't been approved yet according to the lists that float around here. We definitely had some important movement on our I-485's Elmira back on the 16th & 18th of May. I know it was to verify that the medical was in order. A few people here got RFE's on the 19th including my wife's sister who sent her papers in on January 15th.
