My wife was approved for her i485 on Friday. The interview lasted about 5 minutes. There wasn't much to it. He verified our address, corrected a mistake I made on my wifes year of birth, and asked us how we met.. that was about 3 minutes then he spent another 2 minutes making sure we understood how important it was that we send in the paperwork to remove the conditions in two years. The only paperwork he asked for was something that show we lived together. So I gave him a copy of our lease and a bank bank statement. I took everyones advice and took more then I thought I would need as you never know. He didn't even ask to see any of the original ceritified copies of anything. He was a nice guy and we didn't have any issues.

Thanks to everyone for all the advice I have read here and from learning from others mistakes. Good luck to all that are still on their journeys.

still nothing about our I-485.... got two touches 2 months ago and nothing... hmmm..... adn we were transfered to CSC in April!!!! ... not even interview letter or something.... :angry:

still nothing about our I-485.... got two touches 2 months ago and nothing... hmmm..... adn we were transfered to CSC in April!!!! ... not even interview letter or something.... :angry:

Whooohoo! Green Card in hands yesterday morning. Wow I'm impressed with how fast it was. I got the approval on June 3rd. They mailed it on June 6th and yesterday.....it was there! The welcoming notice and the GC!!!! And it is all correct, no typo errors or anything else.... :dance: :dance:

Now it's time to dance and to drive!!!!

Man, I love how the processing times are all over the place under the EAD section. I learned very quickly not to get my hopes up over them. Since I am almost at the 80 day mark I hope to be updating you all with a very excited post that we've reveived the EAD very soon. Cross your fingers!
