Early in the week, case status online updated to indicate our EAD card production was ordered.

And just yesterday, we received my wife's AP documents!!!!

And today I'm off to buy myself a new surfboard ... it's like Christmas at the ronin.house I tell you.

Hey Guys,

Happy Saturday!!

Well I checked my mail box and I got my EAD card (job hunting here I come) and also my interview letter for July 31st Im superrr happy as my hubby was telling me he probably won't get deployed until Sept. 1st! soo, maybe he'll be here for the interview. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for that one and praying that he will be here!!

Miss ya'll! It's been quite awhile that I haven't been online since our pc crashed 2 weeks ago and i felt that I was really way behind with all the news in here and I have some catching up to do.

Anyway, I already got my greencard yesterday and finally we can rest from all the immigration stuff in for about 2 years. I will be getting my unrestricted SS card on Monday and hopefully everything will turn out well. I am happy to be back on track and keep myself updated of what's going on with the rest of the March filers.Finally, I do wish everybody's spending the weekend with lots of fun and pleasure! Hi don't worry nana. You are not alone. Mine is even worst. No update on my I-485 since biometrics plus i don't see my receipt number online until now. Though i have my AP and EAD already.

Current Status: Card production ordered. On June 6, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you

My wife was approved for her i485 on Friday. The interview lasted about 5 minutes. There wasn't much to it. He verified our address, corrected a mistake I made on my wifes year of birth, and asked us how we met.. that was about 3 minutes then he spent another 2 minutes making sure we understood how important it was that we send in the paperwork to remove the conditions in two years. The only paperwork he asked for was something that show we lived together. So I gave him a copy of our lease and a bank bank statement. I took everyones advice and took more then I thought I would need as you never know. He didn't even ask to see any of the original ceritified copies of anything. He was a nice guy and we didn't have any issues.

Thanks to everyone for all the advice I have read here and from learning from others mistakes. Good luck to all that are still on their journeys.

Hey Marta, we've had no action on our I-485 since April 3rd.....so hopefully its normal! I don't think we are the only ones on here either. have you checked the processing times at your local office?? Seattle is showing processing date for I-485 as July 29, 2007 currently, which means we may have a loooooooong wait
