Does anyone else have the issue where you can see EAD and AOS online, but not AP???

Giuys I think I got touches because I applied for new SS card (with married name). So I think touches I got 2 weeks ago mean that SS Office requested my status from USCIS .... What do you think... May be I am wrong, but i had new touches only when I applied for new SS card and nothing happened new from that moment...

I doubt it..one office has nothing to do with the other and for a name change, they have no reason to request your status. They have your visa status listed from when you originally applied for your card. We applied for my husbands SS card before even applying for AOS/AP/EAD and they just looked at the visa in his passport. Congrats on the touches though..must be more good news heading your way!

I doubt it..one office has nothing to do with the other and for a name change, they have no reason to request your status. Thank you... I got my number before AOS/EAD too... but after we married (before we filed AOS) I tired to change my last name in SS card, but 2 weeks later i received letter from SS office were they explained that they can't change last name in my SS card, as they send request to USCIS to confirm my status, and USCIS send them reply that i didn't adjust my status yet. That's why I thought that this time they did it again after I showed my EAD, and probably USCIS confirmed that I have valid EAD. So I thought touches in my file have been made when they confirmed my EAD and pending AOS for SS office... but may be I am wrong.. who knows

Finally, we received USCIS email a few minutes ago, saying case transferred to CSC. Congrats to all the March filers that had approvals / progress on their case recently. Hopefully, we will receive EAD/AP approvals before the week is over.

Hi Elmira,

I got the same touches as you. We applied for the SS card on the 12th of May and had it in hand on the 17th. The card was mailed out before the touches occurred. I have about 5 people in my friend's list that got the same touches. Plus my wife's sister sent their AOS out in January and got the same two touches. She hasn't even applied for a SS number yet. What I think is that it is the FBI background check being completed prior to the touches. Her sister got an RFE from those two touches.

who knows ... may be may be they just checked if everything is ok with documents, and if everything is OK, they just put in another people trays for approvals and if they need for example medical or something else- they just send RFE.. but let's hope it means only good news for us
