Yay! I have good news! My husband and I got the interview appointment notice in the mail today! (= Our interview is July 22, 2008 in Atlanta, GA USCIS office! I'm excited that it is so soon!! Thats exactly four months from the time we sent the AOS....

So do they still approve you on the spot at the interview if they are convinced that you're a true couple?? My husband is 19 and I am 18 about to turn 19 and we are full time college and live with my parents.... so we don't have car insurance, car, leases, or anything like that in both our names... all we have is a bank account, we did our taxes together, i changed my last name to his on all my stuff now like DL, SS, and College Stuff. We had a court wedding as of now (we're saving up for our big wedding on the beach (=) but we do have tons of pictures from high school together, proms, vacations, friends weddings, family, etc...

I am now officially nervous about the interview!!!! Does what I have listed above sound "clear and convincing?" Any advice on what to get together in order to show that we are true and be approved would be great Thanks!

I am sure it will be fine, and if not then they will just let you know what else they need. I would think you have lots by the sounds of it. Best of luck at your interview and make sure you let us all know how it goes.

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

I'm kind of worried here, and I'm not sure if it's normal. Our I-485 has not been touched since biometrics on 04.02.08, we have not been transferred either.

Are there any of you out there with the same dilema?

7.14.07 - Received NOA1 (WOW after 6 weeks, I was worried...called INS and told me CSC had a computer "glitch" causing delays on printing Receipt notices and approvals)

Hi Everyone,

Congrats to those with their EADS and approvals.

I am beginning to worry as I should have had my EAD approval by now but I haven't.

My EAD and AOS hasn't been touched since my biometrics, which some say is normal BUT my I-130 has NEVER been touched!!!

Is there anyone else out there that filed with the I-130 / I-485 together and is in the same situation as me? I'm worried that there has been a lost RFE for the 130...

Romes--- I never got any touches on anything.... I filed I-130 and I-485 together.

I just got my EAD and AP....I filed on Feb 29th (the received it on the 4th of March)

I wouldn't worry its probably on its way soon!

Just to keep you updated, we had our biometrics on 05/14 and we received an email that said the case was transferred to CSC for processing. The email was dated 05/24.

I know there are no guarentees, but does the case being transferred to CSC suggest that we'll be getting AOS without interview?
