It feels like we are the only ones still waiting for EAD and AP

We've no touches, nothing on the web site, although he received a snail mail notice to appear for his initial interview in Detroit on June 12 --- go figure ---- that is the 90 day mark for the k-1 too. So hopefully the local office has all our documents and we go from there! hang in there! Alane & Ramzis

Hi to all!!! just had to report in that my hubby got a job - his first choice company! It was craaaaaaazy, we got EAD in the post on Monday last week. Thursday night he emailed out 3 resumes at like 2AM (so really friday AM) and by Saturday afternoon he had 2 interviews lined up for monday and tuesday! nuts, can't believe they called over the weekend.....it sure wasn't like that for me and I am the USC lol!!!! anyway, the first company (where he really wanted to work) knew he had another interview on tues and called 2 hours before that interview to offer him the job! they aren't even supposed to be done interviewing all the candidates until today!!!! he went to the other interview anyway just to be thorough, but is thrilled about his new job. It will be such a relief to be dual income again!!! we saved and saved to make it through the transition, but it still has had me a bit edgy watching the savings dwindle every month and costs of food, gas, etc going up and up, so yay! on to the next chapter......

as a side note we have still not had any touches, emails, or snail mail about AOS since biometrics on April 3rd.....I keep hoping we hear something soon so we can just be done with it all for a while, but since we have not even been transferred (still are at MSC) it may be a while

good luck to everyone on their continued journeys and congrats to all the good stuff rolling in!

I need some ... !!!

I applied for AOS and didnt applied for AP because I thought that once I get approved my AOS I can be able to travel out of the country. But reading this forum, I notice that everybody has applied for AP. Does it means that even if AOS is approved, I can not go out of the country without the AP approved? How long takes (aprox in months) to be AOS approved?

Regarding the EA employment authorization, I have to apply for it if one day I want to work? I mean; I wont be authorized to work in USA when the AOS is approved?
