:dance:Hey everybody!

So most people on here doing the adjustment of status are adjusting from a K visa. I know that most visas get transfered to CA with no interview, but B visas (tourist visa) overstays always have an interview. My husaband came here as a 12 year old on a B2 visa and overstayed. So I was wondering, I know some people that filed in March are getting thier EAD approvals but I think they are K visas. So.... would adjusting as an B2 overstay take longer to get EAD approval than a K visa would? Or do they just give EAD approvals in the order they receive them in Chicago????

I have seen very little cases where they get it in 90 days, so i think you should get something soon. I took me exactly 2 months, and many others 2 months. Best of luck to you!!

Just got my EAD and my AP on the mail.

I was really happy.....but got really sad when I saw that the initial of my middle name on my EAD card was wrong :(

I just called them and now I'll have to file another I-765, and send it along with the card and a copy of any document showing my correct name....which is gonna be my SSN. Aiai.....it was all going so smooth....I needed the EAD to get an state ID or DL so bad right now....like opening a bussiness account and other things....uff...at least there's no fee.

But, I am happy...I'll just have to wait a little bit more :)

It's approved and that's what matters!

Sorry to hear about that. Take a copy of the card front and back and keep it in case you find a job before your replacement card gets here, you can show them it was approved with an error on your middle initial.

Mar. 31, 2008 - Can finally see AP & EAD online!!

Apr. 10, 2008 - Biometrics finished! Can finally see AOS online & EAD touch!

May 12, 2008 - Email: AP approved!!

May 14, 2008 - Email: EAD approved!!

May 16, 2008 - EAD card & AP in hand!!

Sept 19, 2008 - Interview letter - Oct. 24th - Seattle??

Oct. 21, 2008 - A Touch..WOW!! The interviewer must've put it on his/her desk!

Oct. 24, 2008 - Interview..now back to waiting!

Nov 13, 2008 - Approved! Card Production Ordered...finally!!

Nov 24, 2008 - Card arrives!!!!
