YEA!! I finally have something that can be added to the update list! We went out of town for 2 days (Fri & Sat) and in Friday's mail we got the EAD card and AP!! We just got the email, so we thought it'd be a while for the AP and EAD card to get here. I'm so excited!!

My I-485 was tocuhed today again... hmmm... :whistle: on Sunday??? :blink: what about you???

I am a little behind with some things but how do you know that your application was touched? I see it all the time but what are you using to determine the touch?

When you check your status online and there's been a change to the date, you've been touched. The message is same, it's just the date that changes. :thumbs:

hey guys! just dropped Hubby off for his first job interview over here....I think I am more nervous than him :)

We got his EAD in the post last week, he submitted his resume online to 3 jobs late Thursday night, and by Saturday afternoon he had 2 job interviews lined up for this week and a request for more information from the third one! it was totally crazy and started happening so fast. It's a good thing, just kinda nuts!

anyway, just needed a place to say ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I hope it goes well for him. He left a great job in London that he really liked to move here and I just want him to find something that makes him happy - you know???

hey guys! just dropped Hubby off for his first job interview over here....I think I am more nervous than him :)

We got his EAD in the post last week, he submitted his resume online to 3 jobs late Thursday night, and by Saturday afternoon he had 2 job interviews lined up for this week and a request for more information from the third one! it was totally crazy and started happening so fast. It's a good thing, just kinda nuts!

anyway, just needed a place to say ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I hope it goes well for him. He left a great job in London that he really liked to move here and I just want him to find something that makes him happy - you know???

Don't worry about that .... everything is gonna be OK... as for me, for example, I sent 50 resumes, and nothing..... I can't understand it.... but I still believe that I will find the job of my dream very soon, as I loved my job in Kazakhstan too and I miss it a lot :blush:

Same here Elmira! :( I've been receiving job offers but I am not really into it though. I mean, its just not the kind of job that I want to do. I have sent my resume to quite a few prospective employers but only got one reply. The letter stated that they prefer to pursue others since I am overqualified for the position that I applied for. Oh well, everyday I wake up hoping that I will get more replies and get a job soon. I do realize that I am not alone in this and there are also others like me that have spent months looking but never finding anything at all. So, the best I can do is just to continue with what I am doing. Good luck to us all!

I think it might be best to put in the aproval dates, because we shouldnt judge uscis time spane, for how long it takes the postal service to get the ead in our hands, to me this makes better sence!!Do you guys agree???
