OOOOH HOOO!!! Just got back from the DMV, I passed my written test with flying colours! I'm so happy! :dancing:

That's awesome unforgettablefire! So, you took the test only 6 days after receiving you EAD. That's great! I've read somewhere that some people were going on the next couple of days after receiving the EAD and they didn't let them have the test because they were not in the S.A.V.E. system. (whatever that is :blink: ) That's cool!

Congratulations

I got my SS number the day I got my EAD card. I was lucky I was verified in the system and I just went to pick up the number the day after. And then I just went to the DMV to apply for my State ID and Driver's ID, I didn't want to take the test the same day because I had other errands to run and what not... But all along it has been a quite painless process I hope it continues and I wish everybody the best of luck!

I took all my NOAs (just in case) my passport, my ss number and my EAD card. They only asked for the EAD and my SS number. Hope this helps!! :thumbs:

Today hubby applied for his Social Security Card. We got there around 9am and was done pretty shortly after that. The lady told him it will arrive within 10 days in the mail! We are so glad to be done with this part and now just waiting for the card to come so he can apply for work ! :dance:

Thanks everyone!!! and Nana... we are hoping for yours sooooooooooooo soon!!! maybe this coming few days!

The first day we got an email saying the card was ordered was on May 6th, then the 2nd time was May 9th... then the email saying The Approval letter was mailed was May 13th, then yesterday May 14 hubbys EAD card was in the mail ! :dance:

I know it doesn't mean anything.. :whistle: . but sometimes you want miracles in your life :blush: so let's hope it means fast approval as it is 1 month in CSC already... Well heres the update soo far I got my social in the mail today, I havent checked my stats since Monday so when i checked today this is lastest on my AOS:

Hey Elmira my I-485 was touched today too!!!! I'm thrilled.

I know... what is wired my AP was tocuhed too :blink: Why??? I already got my AP in mail??? What is going on??? any ideas??? :blink:
