My husband don't have EAD yet but he already got state driver license...

Got an Request for Initial Evidence last May 13 from MSC stating that i need to provide a Medical. I'm on K-3 and as per USCIS rules, K's are exempted from taking the Medical under the premise that you filed your application for adjustment of status (Form I-485) within one year of your overseas medical examination which i did (see my timeline).

Tried calling the RFE line and it did not help even a bit. They suggested i do infopass and schedule an appointment with a real USCIS officer. :wacko:

Anyways, found the perfect solution here at VJ by reading the AOS guide posted by Captain Ewok with a very good example of a case very very similar with mine. So what me and my wife did is call up our local Congressman and filed a grievance there. Anyways, they were very helpful and in fact they said that i should be hearing from them now the soonest. Hope everything turns out well. I wouldn't want to take another medical exam worth 100 to 200 bucks just because these guys at USCIS keep on losing files and stuff. :angry:
