It looks like our men are pretty similar ;)

I doubt it is a men thing... I kinda start to think it is a USC thing as my SO is exactly like yours as I am also the one who has to tell her what to do

I've noticed that in the case of USC/Western European couples it is often the WE half of the couple who posts here. :P Maybe our other halves are just recognising our obvious superiority.

Ragswat - EXCELLENT! I hope it's another approval!

 maybe it's because since the next step is us, foreigners, at the embassy, they assume they don't have anything to do anymore?

That was me! I didn't get an e-mail either; we only knew it was the NoA2 when it arrived in the postal mail. So it is possible that this touch signifies an approval; just don't get your hopes up falsely! (Hard, I know!)

you are sure to make it soon sunnybear.

Rachel, did they change your case status online when you were touched? or were you totally unaware that it was an approval until the post man knocked?

Hey now! I'm the USC and I'm the one who knows every step and every form that has to be done. I keep bugging Dennis to get his ahead of time stuff done (like go see the doctor because he's missing some vaccinations...he's been promising to do it for like two months and it still isn't done *sigh*).

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

That's far too sensible an idea. I'm blaming Alex for being both male and a USC.

My apologies to Blake!

Whatever the case is, I like the following quote a lot:

Maybe our other halves are just recognising our obvious superiority.

:rofl::rofl:

btw, anyone else noticing weird reloads in these forums lately? From what I could see is it Google doing this, I kinda think it is the Google Ads on top as I only experience it on these forums when there is Google Ads... It really takes away my reading pleasure :(

My apologies to Blake!

I knew sooner or later it would come to male bashing

I grew up in a household with three sisters, and have the scars to prove it. As far as the WE thing, well, let's just say that it has more to do with the male vs. femaile difference. If it truely was a WE vs USC thing, then nothing would actually happen, although there would be a tremendous amount of discussion. Besides, the USC already did his/her part with the initial filing.....now i'ts up to the SO's

Good luck Cecile, Aliona, and everyone. We're still clearing out last weeks approvals since the technologically advanced CSC has reverted to snail mail to inform the lucky couples.

And So It Begins......

True, but we still need some affidavits of support and some tax transcripts ;)

Now let's only hope that USPS doesn't lose any mail!

Be nice when you ask for this as it obligates the USC to provide support, no matter what, for the next 9 years or so.

Kidding aside, I know there's a lot to do once the approval arrives - and it might take longer for this fact to dawn on us fun loving, irresponsible, and conflict avoiding men, however, that's why God created women, to provide balance.
