Congrats Rachel!!

Big change you'll get that december wedding now ;)

hehe.. it was funny.. I was like 'hmm lets see if theres anything new happening on Igor's list'.. so I went there and was already like 'wow, theres some new approvals' and then I saw your name and was like 'omg thats great!' haha

Darn.. can't imagine how glad I will be if this first wait will be over.. guess I will be reaaallly happy lol since it aproximately takes 2 months to go from CSC into a real life visa (according to the history stats for NVC and for the consulate in my country).

Anyways, I am really happy for you and Alex, Rachel (yes, I am happy for every approval but always a bit more happy for those who post on a regular base inside this thread lol)...

can't wait to see more of us to get their approvals :D

I can't wait, either!

Yes; I've checked with my parents and they say a December wedding is fine with them, so December it shall be! Plus since it'll be near Christmas (as I'd like to get married in the Christmas hols so my little brother and sister don't have to have time off school) it might actually end up being easier for all of Alex's relatives, as they get together every Christmas anyway.

Thank you, Jereon; I know what you mean; it's always a little nicer when it's someone whose progress you have been following more closely. And Kelly - thank you again! AOS; eek, I'm not sure where the money will come from...but hey, at least AOS is filed for once we're together.

OH MY GOSH!!! Rachel, CONGRATS!!!!

I've been watching your timeline for so long! I'm thrilled for you! I'm sure Cecile and the other earlier January folks are well on their way as well. (I also send a little thought out to those from December and before every day as well.) In the meantime, a HUGE congrats to you and Alex. Let the wedding planning begin!

Thank you, Courtney! :D

Oh yes - the wedding planning. Cripes! I've been rather enjoying not having to think about it. ;)

It really is so unfair that approvals aren't done chronologically. :(

I've thought about that too. I would rather wait longer, but know each and every day, that the process is fair.

How am I doing? Just found out i was touched once yesterday and then again today. Some movement.

Two touches? I'd be checking the USCIS website on the hour if I were you - sounds like an approval is right around the corner.

Hard Copy NOA2 RECEIVED 5/10!!

Turns out it was approved upon the second touch - appx. 2 months ahead of the VJ estimate. It may be YOUR turn any time soon.

The journey continues...

Congratulations psychedelik! And I agree; I think people will have to wait for their hard copies rather than rely on the website.

Thank you Blake and aravis! Blake, you have been amazing throughout all of this; always on hand with good advice and words of sympathy! It would've been a lot harder without you and Cecile, Jereon, Miss Yoko and sunnybear, who have all been keeping me sane. I am very, very eager to see all of you approved, too!
