i see...btw, i read the post about drivers license in the U.S...it clearly states there that if we have a foreign license ,tis good for 6 months to use...BUT if were going to reside into a certain state then we need to apply for the state drivers license...

and since we are inline with being a resident in california, then we still need to apply for the drivers license and rules of being able to use our drivers license in our country (for 6 months) cant be applied to us.

correct me if im wrong...

28 approvals over the weekend, thats a great news. But I am little scared seeing 70 couples waiting bfore us on igor's list. If USICS claims that it does approvals in order they receive it, why is this happening? I see a lot of november and even october ppl waiting while january filers are getting approved. We filed inbetween Dec-Jan. we a having our fingers crossed. God Bless us with an approval soon.

Any other early january filers here? whats your guess? when do you expect your approval?

After watching the approvals over the last 4 months I wouldn't put any stock in the claim that applications are worked on in the order they are received. I think the service centers consider filing your application when it is received as work. There will be mid January approvals before early January approvals, just like I am sure there will be some February approvals before my end of January application is approved. Once you see that you are in the processing window (other applications are being approved with a similar timeline as yours) you can expect some action within a window of a couple of weeks. It's really all a crapshoot though.

As for the earlier people still within the window at the CSC, it's hard to say what's the situation. Some are active and some are inactive, there may be RFE's for some that have not been entered in the timeline, or....who knows.

We've had two updates today, one a december filer, and then judging by the impact on the projected timeline, one that was quite old - and certainly with an approval date before May 1.

Good luck to everyone, I have a feeling we'll have another good week.

hmm.. guess the monday must have done this... I was just checking up on my VJ timeline and while it said during the weekend I was back to July 5th (been on June 22 before as well), I am climbing now again to July 11th..so guess the monday is the cause to this..hopefully we will see lots of approvals the rest of the week :D

Honestly Cécile! You're like jumping all over the house, smilling like a stupid person!!

I just cannot stop thinking OMG you've got approved!! I just called my baby to let him know!

He was happy, but really sleepy! :D

I saw like yesterday that I've been touched at the end of April, and already started to be really excited!!even if i thought it was maybe nothing! I don't think I am gonna sleep a lot tonight!! :P

And of course, I feel bad "bragging" about my case, because like a lot of us, I thought you would get approved first, and then, I could start think, ok, I should be next!

It is weird to really know how they are working, in order or not!

Anyways!! I will be waiting to see when you got approved!!

Oh, and I did change my timeline, but somehow my name keep staying at the number 94! so I will try to figure it out later, after work

Again good luck to everybody!!!! ;)

Pam

Nevermind about my timeline, it just got changed!! :star:
