Jereon - that would really suck if you had to surrender your foreign license! Oh well...I guess so long as you could drive in The Netherlands with your American license. :) Thank you for looking up the information for me! Oh, and please don't worry about the cost of driving lessons - the first ten are a belated Christmas/birthday present from my parents!

I agree, as long as I can drive with my US license in the future, that'll be good as well ^^

And good job in getting your parents that far that they want to pay you for it :D I wish my parents would've done that when I got my license xD

N400 Timeline:

12/14/11 - Sending out N400 package

12/19/11 - Received by USCIS

12/21/11 - NOA date

12/22/11 - Check cashed

12/27/11 - Received NOA

02/06/12 - Received yellow letter (pre-interview case file review)

03/13/12 - Placed in line for interview scheduling (3 yr anniversary)

03/17/12 - Received interview letter

04/17/12 - Interview - No decision, application under further review

04/17/12 - Biometrics

04/25/12 - Placed in line for oath scheduling (so I'm approved yay!)

04/27/12 - Received oath ceremony date

05/09/12 - Oath ceremony!!

Welcome back MissYoko, I hadn't seen you post for a while. Yes things are moving along quite well right now and my hope is that the CSC can sustain this level of activity for a bit. With two more december approvals overnight my timelie has dropped back to where it was before the Great Slowdown of 2008.

Yeah, i've been celebrating all along.... Hell, I practically skipped out of the post office after sending the petition.... screamed when the check was cashed and couldn't stop smiling when we got the hardcopy of the noa1. :lol: Russell's even more anxious than I am!

Perhaps it's because we've waited so many years, already lived together for more than a year and half ..... who knows. I just want to celebrate every single milestone... I like celebrating with others as well... keeps you strong to take on the rest of it!

I'm just so happy you folks are finally 'getting there'!!! Can't wait to celebrate all of your approvals!!!
