Well one thing I am thinking that person who got approved recently was lying. I had been messaging with them and they joking said "maybe I should scan it in so people believe me" and I replied back with "yes maybe you should!" Needless to say haven't seen them around again! So yeah thinking it was a troll!!!! Some people I tell ya!

Hope CSC gets their act together this week and lots of approvals!!!!

I agree sunnybear. It is nice to see the CSC getting a coupld of notifications out over the weekend, however, at least we know the system is working, albeit very slowly. If last year is any kind of guide, there were three very slow weeks followed by a rather significant up-tick in the number of approvals. Perhaps it is all related to the flood of H1-b visas that hit a few weeks ago, just like in previous years. Since we've just finished our third very slow week, perhaps fortune will smile on the patient.

I am hoping that CSC filers will get a lot of approvals very soon!!

There are some days it is really hard to see that nothing has changed, but I am trying to be positive :)

Everyday who is passing by is one day closer to the one I am going to be with my baby...

Approvals should be coming soon like BlakeandOlha said.

Good luck to all of the CSC filers!

Sorry to see things are no better at CSC, we waited 4.5 months for ours last year. Hang in there its coming soon, then once approved and through NVC it gets very fast for most countries, just 2-3 months to interview.

For others not so speedy

Good luck to you all.

Yikes, you had to wait a very long time for your interview! :o

Good luck to you, too, Pam - great to see more January filers posting in this thread. :D

Good Tuesday morning, all. I had a fun weekend - travelled six hours on Saturday, attended my friend's birthday party and then travelled six hours back on Sunday! I did meet two friends I hadn't seen in years, though, which was really good, and the party was good fun (and now there are hideous photos of me on Facebook, d'oh. :P )

Sounds like a fun weekend indeed. I had my dad visiting over the weekend, he left today. That's always good for a lot of conversation. It looks like spring has finally arrived - thank goodness.

Well we had our first January approval today. It was a bit of a unique circumstance in that it was a re-submission of an I-129F that the CSC originally screwed up, however, a victory is a victory. Congratulations to Gerald and Virna

Hey guys...I kinda gotta unique circumstance here. My fiancée filed an I-129F for me on 3rd Jan. She had to give all the addresses i had been since the age of 16. I had been in 3-4 places from then on. Especially I am in Singapore now for my MS, I will be returning back to India in couple of months(We have requested the Visa process in Chennai Consulate). It will be a real headache for me to collect police certificates from all the places I have lived especially since I will be leaving Singapore in couple of months.

Another unique circumstance is:

My fiancée is completing her BS in San Jose. She is not working full time yet. So will there be a problem in her sponsoring me? Though her dad can be a co-sponsor (can definitely show more than 125% poverty). Will my fiancée not being able to sponsor directly be a problem?

Thanks Folks

Hi RagSwat,

The petitionaire will still be the main sponsor but when he cant reach the 125% and a cosponsor can, then theres not much of a problem as long as the 125% is reached (I believe you can even have more than one cosponsor, not sure bout that tho).

It's a good thing those H1-B's get priority too. With the economy booming as it is and unemployment at a 231 year low, Fortune 500 companies need as many new employees as they can get, and they need them yesterday! Gas has never been cheaper, quarterly results are pouring in and everyone is beating estimates by double digit percentages, I haven't heard of mass layoffs in... forever, and the dollar is at an all time high world wide.

In fact, I can't think of anything more important to the health of the nation and the long term prospects of the human species than corralling as many people as you can as fast as you can who will work for 50% of market rates, then giving the other 50% to yourself as a performance bonus. Thank God we are blessed with a government that has its head on straight and knows how to prioritize.

Well, the week is already in half... I hope they start soon as well, also so they can live up to what you said but for some odd reason I have my doubts in it.

The week isn't half way for Igor's list.

Right now it is Wednesday, almost noon in Europe, so that means it is the night between Tuesday and Wednesday in the USA. Which means USCIS has worked two days this week so far.

People who were approved Monday might have discovered their approval Tuesday, and people who were approved Tuesday will discover today when they wake up. So that would mean that on Igor's list there are only approvals from Monday.

And..... I just checked on Igor's list and that isn't true: the NOA2 dates are 03/22 which is yesterday, and not Monday :( So my theory doesn't work in practice.
