Congratulations to Levi and Thomas!

We are now married :) It feels totally surreal. Nothing looks different but it still feels weird. We're going to the restaurant with friends and family in a minute. I'll give more details tomorrow.

  :dance:Congratulations to Levi and Thomas!

Hawkeye28 - completely agree with you there! The sunshine in California is a big, big draw for me. Alex originally wanted to move to Washington but I must admit I wasn't liking the idea of a climate so similar to the UK - he might as well have moved here!

Cecile - woo! The first of us regular CSC peeps to be married! :D I bet it does feel very strange...I'm sure I'll find it odd, despite day-to-day life not changing.

Awwwww CONGRATS all! Approvals and weddings oh my happy days are here again :)

Cecile cannot wait to hear more and see some pics too!

Me well I had complete panic attack last night and decided I hate my dress on me! UGHHHHHHH so back to the drawing board on that one with just a couple months (hopefully) to get one! I have one picked out on Davids Bridal that isactually a bridesmaid dress in white so hope to go there this weekend and try on ..... sigh...

Gareth is headed to his medical as I type this! He woke with a horrid ear ache so he was not a happy camper about that. Will call to check on him soon.

OK I admit that it does feel different to know that I am his wife and he is my husband. The ring on my finger isn't the same anymore :P and this morning when he left I was going to tell him something like "have a good day, my dear husband" but I was too asleep to say such a long sentence :P And when he says "it's none of your business" (jokingly) I can say "now I'm your wife, everything you do is my business!" :P

I wrote a long text in French about our wedding day, to send to my family. It has lots of details. I will probably translate it so you can read it here, but it's so long I don't want to do it right now.

However I do have pictures! here . We did not take pics at the courthouse as we went there alone. it was OUR intimate moment (even though we were in front of 50 strangers)

I still haven't taken pictures of the wedding dress (that I will only wear next year for the ceremony) but I'll try to take some soon. I want to show it to Bryan soon.

I love the photos - and your dress! You look gorgeous!

Bryan's grandmother looks fantastic, too - amazing skin. :) (Sorry - couldn't help observing!)

However I have one concern. They never asked me if I wanted to take his name (which I want to do) or keep mine. Bryan says that since they didn't ask they'll just do it like they do with 99% of people and will give me his name. I hope he is right!

Thanks!

And yes! she looks very young!! It was the first time I met her (and the rest of his family) and I was amazed by her too.

Congratulations everyone! Nice to finally see people together after all of this time. Nice to hear that there is an END to all of this process. When you are in the middle of it it all seems like its going ot take forever, especially not knowing when things are going to happen. Have fun making up for lost time! ;)

LMFAO

Ok here is Gareth's interpretation of his medical appt.....

To me:

Well, how does it make you feel that some stranger has seen my weener

more times this year than you?? hahaha

Twas funny, She got me to my grundies and I led down, and she was all

'Oooofff all those scary tattoos...... I dont think I could sleep with

you with all those!' haha I was thinking 'Ummmm I didnt ask you to!'

haha I just turned around and said thats exactly what you said.

Then she checked out chest and tummy area, and told me to cough, for

some reason. And then said, 'And let me just check down here' in a

fashion that came accross as 'I shouldnt be doing this, but he dont

know I shouldnt, so im gonna peek' hahah I was gonna laugh out loud

but didnt!! haha
