Yeah!!! Congratulations! Yes, the POE at Minneapolis is definitely good. You are probably going to be tired the next days and wake up very early and fall asleep in the middle of the day :P At least that is what happened to me!

It is exactly what's happening to me right now! I saw your message yesterday, right after I woke up from "my nap"!It felt funny to read that from someone else. Again, I woke quite early this morning....I am just hoping it will go away soon.

Just wondering, for everyone here who is married already or who will be married before the end of the year, do you plan on getting the SSN before or after the marriage? No-one seems to agree about this issue on visa journey...

I am getting married on September, and also plan to get my SSN after my wedding. Why getting a card, and have to change the name on it a week after?

Seeing all you guys wondering about it, I wanted to make sure it is ok to do it that way, so I e-mail the SSN (from their website), and will keep you guys posted as soon as I get an answer from them.

WELCOME!!!!!! I'm so happy that everything went smoothly for you and there were no problems, other than some red eyes. Pam, keep us up to date on the wedding plans and the adaptation to the Minnesota lifestyle. Just don't start ending every sentence with "Yah?"

Thank you all for your nice words!

So, we will get married on September 7th. Josh showed me the park where we will have the ceremony, and it looks amasing!!! :)

I then saw all the rentals (like tables, chairs, linens, forks, etc.), and went after that, filled for our wedding certificate.(for the ones wondering, they are asking for a SSN, but I didn't have it yet, the lady have me an addititonal sheet explaigning why I don't have one yet, and told me it should be enough, that I should not be worried.)

Our party is going to take place at his mom's backyard, and she had put so many flowers everywhere! It also looks amasing!

Otherwise, we still have more things to plan, and I am waiting my baby to be off, so we can keep planning, renting, buying..... ;)

I agree, that after I year spent in Minnesota, it is getting hard to do not say "Yah" on every single sentences!!

I will try my best Blake!!

About rea-climate, I felt better right after I could unpack all of my stuff! We live on the resort where my fiancé works (and where I lived a year too during my internship), so it is easy on me, everybody was waiting for me, and I know almost all the faces. It is great to do not feel like a total stranger, and my manager is already asking me when I can go back to work!! :P so........yeah, I am doing great until now! ;)

Thanks again everyone I am on air for sure! Started making more wedding arrangements right away heheee! We decided we are going to try our best to have a couple 8's in our date haha.....what is even funnier is we also remembered that umm the first time we consummated the relationship was also on the 18th! So yeah 8 is our number haha!

Pam the park and backyard sound gorgeous!!! I would love to do outside but in fall here that is just too iffy haha! Cannot wait to see photos!!!

Ok now how do I know when it gets to NVC or leaves NVC and all that business I see people have posted before their loved one gets packet 3?

That's easy. You simply call the NVC (603-334-0700), give them the case number that you've had for sooooooooo long from USCIS, and they'll tell you when they recieved it, and when they sent it to London.

In my case, they only had it for 2 days before it was headed over the Atlantic!
