That would be awesome!! I'm hoping Levi gets packet 3 before he comes as I said before so they better get in gear!!!! Would be SOOOOO much easier to get it done together! Of course he'll still have the medical and police stuff to get done....... Does he have to mail any of that ahead of time? Can't remember...

Ditto here. Mary is coming to see us next Wed! So X fingers that she gets P3 before she leaves. I've going nuts trying to get a letter from my employer quick in case is gets here before she comes down.

I got the new job!!!!! I am so ecstatic but also nervous! My boss said to def jump for the chance and show them what I can learn and do! It is at Michigan Rehabilitative Services building and I will be the new Vocational Assessment Coordinator! Fancy title aye? Don't ask me what I will actually be doing as really don't know 100% yet haha! What is scary is they said "we want to try Stephanie until September and see how she does" so yeah basically I really need to show my stuff! My current boss said she would be happy to take me back if it did not work out though so not too worried besides of course humiliation if it doesn't work haha....I have no idea on details on when I start or pay but my boss told me several times it would "be a substantial raise" soooo I am EXCITED!!!!

Now to get approval and this would be best week EVER! haha

Do you know if the NVC sent it on to Montreal yet?

Just got the letter from NVC today - pretty sparse information wise - dated 6/16

"This letter is to let you know that within a week the petition will be forwarded to the appropriate visa-issuing where your visa interview will take place"

Then the WAC# and the MTL# and the address of the Montreal consulate.

I tracked a package leaving NVC to MTL on the 16th which arrived on the 18th. How can I know if it was that one or not? I guess I will have to keep checking DHL to see if there are any more packages. Once the cosulate has the package, is there any way to track it on its way here - do they use a courier or good old CanadaPost snail mail??

And for our updates, I leave for Costa Rica in three days. My dining room table is COMPLETELY covered with paperwork, all sorted and covered with post it notes. I'm so nervous for the interview. I'm also stressing cause Greivin is having some trouble with the Medical. I am PRAYING things work out by next week. We don't fly home til the 5th, so hopefully things will all come together before then and we can fly home together.

I think in the long run, everything balances out. We got lucky and waited only 4 months for the NOA2, but the stress and difficulties since then have been enormous. For those of you waiting longer, I can only hope kharma treats you kindly and everything is smooth sailing once you get the approval.

Congrats Sunny!! Good to hear some things do go nice :D

And for me.. lol, I just found out that I have to write a letter to some organization which will then tell me if I can or cannot get my (own) court records... blergh.. I totally forgot I might have to ask for those, guess it sets me back for a couple of weeks :/

Guess my country is weird in this... it's impossible for me to grab my own policerecords, the consulate has to do this for me, the only thing i have to get is the darn court record :(

I'm pretty sure packet 3 comes Canada post... Pretty sure Vancouver got ours on the 12th but Levi hasn't received 3 yet... I haven't found any info on how you could track it once its at the consulate til the packet is received or I would have already tried it  CONGRATS ON THE NEW JOB STEPH

Whew, finally!

Have everything! Well, I still don't have the affidavit of support but Alex will post that tomorrow, so I'll send off Packet 3 anyway.

Received police certificate - it's the only professional looking piece of paper I have! It's in colour, has my photo on it, is on thick paper, and, *gasp*, has been signed by a real live human being in pen.

Hey there everyone! Well let's hope this next week brings packet 3's to those waiting and NOA2's for those of us still waiting for those too! My timeline on here says anywhere between June 19-July 4th sooooo here's hoping and praying we DO hear something by then!

Gareth and I had a rough day yesterday just both of us so irritated with this whole process and the waiting. We have not seen one another in over a year now :( Of course we made up and realized we should not try talking when we are both so irritated with everything haha. Today was nicer and I am just missing him like CRAZY.

I am excited to start new job as that shall help take my mind off it a little bit! No idea when I start but should be by July I would think! Hoping to find out pay and such this week eeeeeeeee so exciting!
