January Filers at the CSC - How are you doing?

Hmm.. now I really don't understand it anymore.. :S

NVC said the following:

Received June 12th

Sent June 16th

between today and June 10th there is only 1 package sent to Amsterdam, which had EXP 16 JUN 2008A as reference number, it was picked up on the 17th and it arrived today...

Then how can I already have package 3 (which has a postalstamp at the 18th of June and was delivered today)?

Hmm...maybe NVC lies just as much as CSC, only they make themselves sound LESS efficient? Or maybe they send information electronically as well so that the embassies know what they're going to receive...some wait for the hardcopies before they do anything with it...maybe Amsterdam doesn't wait. I dunno...I'm just hypothesizing. :D

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

I agree, I doubt they're gonna let themselves sound less efficient.. like you said, I think indeed they may have send the information electronically and have the 3rd package sent to me right away... I guess I go with that explanation :D

Don't know how that happened but CONGRATS  Now get busy filling it out :D

lol thanks :D

and yeah, guess I will be filling it all out this weekend.. just read it all but I want to take my time for it so I have less chance of making mistakes :)

:wow: I would be so annoyed!! I sent a card to Dennis and a card to his mom on the same day...Dennis got his, but his mom's never arrived! Although they think his mom might have a sticky-fingered postal carrier...because they've had several greeting cards that never arrived.

hehehe! At least it wasn't super important...whenever I have to send something really important to Dennis I do it through Fedex or UPS so that it can be tracked. It's just so much more expensive! Before he came out last time I sent him a copy of the entire K1 packet and a copy of the NOA1...so it was a flat, fairly lightweight package and I sent it with the cheapest Fedex option that provided tracking...it was about $50! Oh well...it was worth it...I would have just stressed and worried if we'd just been waiting for it to arrive regular post. I keep hoping that I'm going to have to get him a copy of the NOA2 for this trip :)

My opinion is that if you are going to mail something internationally, and you want it to arrive, it had better be sent with tracking data. I sent my fiancee a letter and a t-shirt, and it never arrived, and I chose not to have the package tracked nor insured. Lesson learned.
