Guys,

I have no idea how I got my NOA 2 already. I have not done anything different. I didn't call any numbers or do anything. In fact I didn't even find out how to check if I have been touched or not until today. For some reason I have been blessed and received the NOA 2. Hopefully this is a sign that truly the CSC is starting to pick up the pace. It is wierd because I haven't seen any Novembers approved.

 When will we ever understand this process?

You Guys Rock - Congratulations and best of luck moving forward. I was so suprised and happy to see that you made it through. I don't think we'll ever understand the process, but it's amazing that it has moved so quickly for you. Muchas Gratzies again.

I am one the very last of the November filers as far as date sent. It was so hard watching the VSC people go flying right by. The good thing is I started on the pre Igor list at over 300 and I just went below 100 on Igors list last week. Yes you see the jump when the middle of the month the over the limit people get sent to the other list. At the early stages you keep standing still because someone will add a profile for a filing earlier than yours. I have finially start to see more or less steady progess. There are hard days but the end of this stage is in sight hopefully. This morning I was 92 this evening I am 89. It is so nice being below 100. You guys should move faster because the July crush is gone and the Xmas holidays are gone. People should actually be working not having holiday parties.

I'm just happy I didn't fall back below 200 - holding fast at 190 (although I was up to 189 earlier today  ) I don't mind people addiing duplicate accounts but only if they've filed after me. :P I think with July and Christmas/New Years behind us things should move faster.....oops, lets see, everyone's irish on St Pats  (even in California) and then there's Easter :innocent: , still I think 20 -25 approvals is doable for these guys - so you get your approval in 3 weeks, and I'll get mine in 8. Deal?

Hello folks! I missed you all! Must admit that it was great having a few days' distraction, though.

Congratulations BigCityDave! It's fantastic seeing a December filer approved already. I wish you a speedy reunion with your fiancée. (L)

dbears - GOOD LUCK to you, too! I was really, really hoping to return to these forums to find you had been approved, but alas. :( I will give you such a huuuuuge cheer when you finally are! :D

Ah...work tomorrow. I've had a few hectic days of rough seas, storms, baby bunnies, dog-walking, hail and grandparent-visiting. Great fun - I'm visiting my parents a lot more often than I normally would this year; feel like I have to say all my lengthy goodbyes! It's a pity I couldn't stay longer but 5 days is about all my allergies will allow me.

Welcome back Rachel, sounds like you had a good and long weekend!

And welcome shes!

About VSC and CSC, the only difference is that most of the time, VSC approves petitions a lot faster than CSC. Half of the people who filed in January already got their NOA2. As BlakeandOlha explained on the first post of this topic, he created this separate topic because on the "january filers" one, they all started to show how happy they were because they got NOA2, and they were talking about the next steps of the project. Even though we like them too (of course!) and we are happy for them, sometimes it was a little strange to have this big difference. I mean, we're far from that step and I know that reading so many messages about NOA2 made me a little upset sometimes.

That's why there are different topics. (though I read both of them!)

That's also why you will see many CSC people vent about how slow it is compared to VSC.

Though in the end, the result will be the same for everybody: we will be able to spend the rest of our life with our SO!

Thank you, Cecile :)

Hello shes! Of course you can post in this thread as well. I also hang round the VSC thread despite not having filed there.

dbears - I did indeed compliment my grandfather's eyebrows on behalf of you!

I've decided that after a rather indulgent long weekend I'm going to make good use of these remaining months before my wedding to get cracking on with the dieting again. I always seem to visit my parents and have my grandmother and mother go on about my weight (while feeding me cakes and pies - not exactly helping!) On the other hand everyone commented on how well and happy I looked which was really nice; they all said I was obviously with the right person and that I'd looked comparatively miserable with my ex. :D I've also been trying very hard to get my five portions of fruit and veg and to eat good proteins and fish oils so I'm glad that the effects of that are showing, too.

Thank you Blake! I had an excellent weekend and trust that you all had the same.

I hope the question in that thread isn't too difficult...I didn't think it was gaging by some of the other questions asked but there are more clues I can offer if it remains unanswered. All three buildings were multi-million pound projects and at least two are major tourist attractions for the city although I'm probably misjudging the popularity of the city in the first place.

Yeah I looked at the "interesting" buildings. I don't know where they are either. But I will study your hints a little closer and see what I come up with. I had a great weekend in that I was busy the entire time and had didn't have the opportunity to get depressed or self absorbed. I think it's good to take a break now and again from this whole process - like you did.

Definitely! I'm actually going to be away four out of the next seven weekends so hopefully time will pass quickly!

Having good Google-fu can help...for the Austria question I think I searched for 'strange blob building Austria' and that found it.
