Thats about right - before the latest slowdown we were expecting ours before the end of the month, now we are looking at mid June-if that. I get this feeling that someone said - "Why are you working on K1s, when you should be working on N-400s. K1s can't vote for Obama" :clock:

I get this feeling that someone said - "Why are you working on K1s, when you should be working on N-400s. K1s can't vote for Obama" :clock:

I kinda don't really believe that saying... K1 petitioners also vote ;)

bleh, I do have a nasty feeling about this week... either they still have probs with their site updating so people will have to wait a couple of days more before they get their approval in the mail orrr (and this is more likely) we will have to wait at least another week before something happens because of days off and such.

Oh well.. I hope they start soon on us again.. the wait is wearing me out :(

N400 Timeline:

12/14/11 - Sending out N400 package

12/19/11 - Received by USCIS

04/17/12 - Biometrics

Me, too...I've been so over-emotional the last week or so! I happened to catch the last 10 or so minutes of Anastasia on tv the other day and "At the Beginning" came on during the credits...I started bawling. :crying:

Just as an update, Shirley got her letter from the embassy about 5/22/08!! BUT...it was from the Hong Kong USE not Manilla. While she is currently still in Hong Kong, she will not be able to interview there since she has an error on her passport and will need to return to Phil to correct. Once corrected she can not return to HK without running the risk of being accused of falsifying her documents by the HK immigration....SOOO....I will be contacting the HK USE and finding out how to get her petition sent to Manilla.

FYI for VJers. I put Manilla on the I 129F question #20 which asks which embassy she will apply for the visa at....unfortunately they just sent it to the embassy nearest her current address....I attempted to change her address but the USCIS had just approved it and sent to NVC who reported they had just sent to embassy when they responsded to my address change email....they did not specify which embassy and it was only after Shirley got a letter from HK USe that I realized it had gone there. I had called Manilla Emabesy and they did not have it yet....now I know why!

Soooo good news the process is moving forward but have another hurdle to jump before interview......

Thanx again for all the great technical help. I try to respond when I have knowledge of a question asked but generaly just don't have time for chit chat stuff. I work full time, in process of buying a house for us, and recently just moved, on top of starting a new job.

Have a blessed day!

Steven

hi steven! my fiance also put "manila" on that question on the application form... i am currently living in "metro manila" as well and never leave anywhere else..

im just curious why it went to the HK embassy. u mean the NVC will sent it to the nearest embassy on your beneficiary's address??

I really really hope they're right but I feel like it is just false hope :/

Sorry guys but I have a serious hard time to keep positive about it.. I'll see it when it gets approved (or rejected or rfe'd) but until then I don't think I will be too positive about the whole waiting.

On a different note.. I did manage to get my birth certificate (had to go to a different city for it) recently so I got that all covered up. The i134 is also pretty much finished and I am having a pre-med exam next thursday (with results within an hour) just to get my mind of a possible rejection with that. I am probably just ok but yah, I am a stressing person when it comes to my health so to get my mind back at ease I am gonna do an early test (even though it cost me a some money (less than the real exam tho)).

Oh Holy Smokes! It appears we have another!!!!

USA1138 just posted in another thread that they received their NOA2 on Tuesday! They don't have a timeline published yet, so it's not popping up on Igor's (I reminded them to fill it out, by the way). But the great news is, their NOA1 was dated Jan 22, just like Sunny's!!!

Not trying to jinx anything here, just sharing some general happiness and encouragement with my favorite thread family members!
