Hi guys,

I think i messed it up by assigning myself (living in US) as the person to receive all mails from NVC.

now that our paperwork has been sent to Saigon for process.

I believe they are going to send me (instead of my spouse, who's living in VN) the interview package. That will take month to get to me; thus, delay the process....

am I right? I wish I am wrong about that assessment.

is there any way to change the address to my wife's now?

I'm frustrated just to think about that fact ..

Are you taking about the DS-3032 choice of agent form for your I-130 application?

If so, you did the right thing by assigning yourself as the agent.

As a matter of fact, NVC recommend that the agent be residing in the US.

What they will send you (the agent) is the Visa fee and DS-230 form. Packet 3 and packet 4 still goes to your spouse in VN.

Anyone marrying VietNamese spouse got his/her package3/4 sent back to State?

it's ok now.. the consulate told me it's going to send the next package to my spouse in VN.
