If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I've thought about it everyday...

Even did sold half of my stuff back in August last year to prepare to move to Jordan in December. But due to financial obligations and career opportunities, I'm still here. But really, it'll be a huge change for me -- will not be able to work there at all being that Jordan does not have similar rights that I'm grateful for.

BUT, iffff for any reason that the K1 falls through, I'll probably haul my dog's and myself over there to Jordan (or Dubai, depending on his work situation)

But all in all, yes it's a daily thought!! "Forget all this, I'm moving!" :D

I would move to Egypt and live. If i didn't own a house I would be there right now. And I can do poor. Done that been there. But what I couldn't handel is not working. There is no tattoo shops there. And I think it would not be accepted if I opened one up. But If my husband dont get a visa. I'm so there.

I did relocate to Jordan in 2006. I stayed there for about 9 months and I wouldn't change it. I am glad to be home but the experience was beyond words. I got to know my husband's family and I truly know his heart and soul much better. It made me love him more to see how he interacts with people in his country and it also helped me understand his culture. I respect it so much more now. It was definately an eye opener to see what we ALL take for granted here in the US. I am not going to lie...Life was very difficult in Jordan. We struggled and that wasn't something I was accustomed to. I have always worked and not working was a hard adjustment for me. I had a few bad days and wished I were home...the language barrier was the worst for me. I would not recommend moving to a country that you cannot fluently speak the language! I survived and we are so much closer. I think the experience bonded us more than either of us could have ever imagined. I can't wait to share my culture and country with him! May 5th is the interview day! Life is good! :D

Yes, I have already considered leaving USA and living with my husband in Iran. But, living in that particular country is exceptionally hard to do as an American. With the Islamic dress code, lack of freedoms...

Now if my husband and I decided to live in India...I would leave the USA in a hot second!

Yeah, i would do it.

That is plan B. And i've lived and worked in Morocco before, so it wouldn't be like starting from scratch scratch.

i just believe that there are not a lot of opportunities for young men in Morocco, in terms of employment and education. It is kinda sheltered, and i'd love for Habibi to come here and try it out for a little while just to see how we like it and what opportunities might come up.

Even though the US might have a lot of problems and we disagree with what our government is doing a lot of the time-- i still believe to some extent the American dream exists. And you can still make somethin' outta nothin' over here.

We'll see...

I MISS HABIBI!!!

we battled between that and getting him a visa to come here. looking back, i wish i would have gone there instead for a while, THEN applied for his visa here. but thats another story :)

now we're still considering going back but i'm like moody...very concerned about the financial situation. my husband claims he could never get a decent job there and i don't want to feel trapped in case things went sour. and also i want to travel and i don't see how i'd save the money to travel on a moroccan salary. all things to consider!!!
