I'm a college student, and as such I need money for more than just this visa for my fiance... I also have tuition and room and board and other things to worry about at the moment and I have been seriously considering taking out a student loan. Will this hurt my petition in any way? If I'm $5,000 in debt because of this student loan, will they deny my affidavit of support? Just wondering... Oh and I have multiple alternate sponsors for the affidavit of support so... I know that I don't qualify on my own haha... If anyone has any idea about this, please let me know!!! Thanks a million!

Your debt isn't considered in the calculations..

A co-sponsor is a sure solution. And as long as you have one, everything's cool!
