Vaccine Questions for AOS

Hi all,

seeking for some help here. we starting the AOS process and my wife didn't get any Vaccine done during Medical exam, so we will have to do it here in the U.S. we know she probabaly has some of the shots taken already in the past, but has no way to prove it(can't find the record).

wondering if anyone had similar experience and what are the options? shall we take all of them again? would there be side effects of doing it twice?

I searched in the forum and someone said a blood test can validate of one has already had the vaccines, do we have to do the blood test by the Civil Surgeons listed on line, or it can be any lab facilities. have you done the similar? please share

also, did anyone have the expense covered by their insurance company?

Each insurance policy can be different regarding coverage of required vacciantions. I went to a CS and they accepted my insurance so it was no out of pocket for me... If your coverage doesn't apply then go to the cheapest and then get the CS to transcribe to the vaccination supplement

For k-1 you need only TD,MMR and varicella. I went to the health department and had TD and MMR done($40.00）. Call your health department. My wife is from ChengDu and she had the blood test done for the Varicella. (by my doctor)This paperwork was submitted to the CS. She only needed the first round of shots to send in the AOS paperwork. Check into your health insurance if you have coverage.
