You haven't had shingles in the past 6 months have you? Or been in contact with a child with chickenpox?

Years ago my ex. had the same symptoms as you and it turned out he had Post-therpetic Neuralgia. The weird thing was that he hadn't suffered any kind of rash, just the pain down the one side of his body. He said that sometimes it felt like a burning sensation, other times it felt like walking through a spider web.

I have to wait another week I had my test yesterday, but they said it may take up to a week to review the films. Thanks again everyone.

Well I have gone through this several times. I was checked for MS also but everything was fine. This last time I had this it was a pinched nerve. It comes and goes.

Also remember stress can cause many problems that you didn't think it could cause.

You didn't mention that you get migraines. I get migraines that cause the same symptoms plus I go blind for a period of time. I have had mini strokes in the past but were caused by my migraines. I am now on a daily medication to treat this.

I had a very similar thing happen to me when I was living in Canada. My right arm would go completely numb and get tingly, it would occur on and off through out the day and it continued for quite sometime. I landed an appointment with a Neurologist who did nerve testing and found no issues. He suggested I get a MRI, but being in Canada and not being in grave condition, the wait was 9 months and I was leaving Canada two months later.

While living in Canada, I was introduced to Sushi and became immediatly addicted. I was eating Sushi three to four times a week and in mass quantities in each meal for almost a year. Since my return to the States, my Sushi consumption has dropped considerably and I no longer have the numbness in my arm. Someone suggested it my have been mercury poisoning, but I have not investigated that avenue. I guess no numbness, means no worry..I dunno

Just thought I would share my experience...
