Finally going to be sending out my i-130 packet this week. This has been a 4 month struggle due to some incorrect information on some birth certificates for my step daughter that I had to get straightened out. And also had some money issue's due to the ex-wife.

So now I just noticed on my wifes CENOMAR paper, that it is showing a different place from where she was originally born. It is different from her birth certificate. I don't know how this happened but I don't think it's any funny stuff going on here. I think the record keeping in the area from where she is from screwed up down the line somewhere and the wrong data was inputed into her files.

So do I really have to send a copy of the Cenomar to the USCIS? Or do they just request one at the interview when she gets down to that part of this very long process?

Also, the birth certificate is so unreadable, that she had to go to a lawyer and get a security paper from the CR office to be attached to the birth certificate. I hope this isn't going to be a problem. I called them about it, and they said to just send it in, and if they needed something else at a later date that they would request for it. I guess this happens all the time in other countries.

So I have everything ready to go with the money orders ready and all the necessary papers to go with it so I wanted to make sure about this paper. Maybe I would be better just leaving the CENOMAR out of the packet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

Maritn

When we submitted our i-130 package, we didnt include wife's CENOMAR, coz i thought, we dont have to, coz its a Certificate of No Marriage.

But im not really sure,.and hopefully, someone here will enlighten us with this..
