so it means that my petition was returned to the USA?:blink::blink:

No bliss, you were given form MNL-IV-22 request for documents not a 221g form.

Congratulations on receiving the visa.

The Embassy says doc verification can take from 4 to 6 weeks, but I noticed on the forums where it takes anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks. We are starting week 5 since the interview and Friday will be two months since Delbros texted notification of receipt.

thanks to everyone :)

hi nscarnut! dont woory, that is really a standard procedure of the US embassy(to verify documents) so hang in there.i think the document verification last for 1-4 weeks.ill pray for you ok? don't worry too much :)

I know of a few who got the same results bringing the "white paper" home, and told them the same thing. Delbros messing up is what worried me before but I paid my verification fee on Feb 1 and they told me they have forwarded the request to NSO on Feb 4. Going to the interview is probably the most exciting part of my and my fiance's visa journey. How ironic that I brought so much evidence of our relationship (a whole bag!!) and expected so many questions but with the pre-screening, the woman on Window 18 only asked me my:

1. NBI

2. Birth Cert

3. CENOMAR

4. Pictures? (heck it was a big album so she said, never mind! just show them to the consul)

From my fiance, his:

1. Original Affidavit of support

2. ITR photocopy

3. W2 photocopy

And on the second interview, the consul merely analyzed my papers, asked me how we met and when, and didn't even ask for the pictures. Then he said "Congratulations, your visa has been approved. Welcome to the United States! You can wait outside for your name to be called."

Sweet!

CENOMAR?? is that a requirement too? i thought its not..i didnt see it on the list of requirements at the USEM website. do we all need to have that too?

You will need to have your Certificate of No Marriage at the interview or expect to be put on AR.

My question is if CENOMAR is required to get married in the Philippines why would you think you do not need one to get married?

shes,

You get your CENOMAR from the NSO. You can order online or go to the NSO and fill out form CRS #4.

W2 are US forms stating a persons wages for filing income tax. ITR is an acronym for Income Tax Return. The petitioner can request tax transcripts from the IRS by calling 1-800-829-1040or mailing in a form http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506t.pdf. The transcripts include all the information on the W2s and 1040s and are proof that the taxes were actually filed. The transcripts take about 10 working days to arrive, maybe longer during tax season.

The proof of income should be for the last three years and supports the information on the I-134.
