Well one more week behind us. One week closer for all those who are waiting. It's a good feeling!

Don't look too far behind you, don't look too far ahead of you, just be happy today that that which you long for is coming ever closer to you.

Today is casual Friday for me so I get to wear jeans to work. Oh if only I could just wear jeans every day. I'm just not a "dress up" kind of gal. I was away at a class all day yesterday so I can only imagine what my desk is going to look like this morning. Ugh. I also get to cover the reception desk for an hour. Yippee skippy.

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!! I have a short day today 10am-3pm. I will measure 2 houses on the way to work and one after.....then I am free!!!!!

Think I will do a little shopping. Yesterday, I cleaned the house. Hubby was very happy cuz I had cooked AND cleaned!

I am a project management assistant for a construction distributor. Basically I order, track, ship lovely things like finish hardware, doors and toilet accessories around all day long. Whee.

This has been a very busy, eventful week for us. With Abdou getting his license on Saturday he has been out driving back and forth to work and such. Another very new beginning and adjustment all in its own. He is so thrilled to be driving, having his own car, loving his job, soccer began again and being so happy. Life has been so good to us the last 10 months. It's hard to believe it has been that long already. Our house went under contract so now we await all the inspections and hope our new home will be built in time if things work out. I've been busy at work and so ready for the weekend. Spring is in full swing in Ohio and it's beautiful. If I can just get through my 8 hours today (maybe 10) I'll have those two precious days off, sometimes just not long enough.

I hope everyone has a great Friday and weekend too.

5/10/05 INTERVIEW WAS A SUCCESS

5/18/05 VISA IN HAND

Took 214 Days for a denial, but IN 205 days He will be HOME

6/10/05 Abdou arrives in America, what a happy day!

6/13/05 Applied for SSN

6/23/05 6 p.m. We were MARRIED; honeymoon in Gatlinburg

8/13/05 AOS and EAD paperwork mailed

8/25/05 NOAs in the mail!!! Yea!

11/25/05 - BIOMETRIC DATE

01/26/06 - AOS SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW AND HE GETS HIS FIRST JOB AT FIRST JOB INTERVIEW

02/13/06 - GREEN CARD ARRIVED

4/22/06 - Driver's License!!

11/05/2007 Filed to Lift conditions[/color]

11/07/07 - NOA1 received

12/21/07 - Biometrics completed

04/08/08 - 10 YEAR CARD APPROVED

04/14/08 - CARD IN HAND !!!!!

11/3/08 - Filed for Citizenship

11/29/08 - Biometric Appointment

02/03/09 - Citizenship Interview, HE PASSED

Yea, TGIF! And its my flex so a three day weekend awaits me. Of course I will go to sleep tonight and when I wake up in the morning it will be Monday :blink:

Wishing everyone a wonderful Friday, also! My day is going to be crazy-busy, alhamdulillah! Busy=$$$! So, here I sit having a bowl of yogurt, blackberries, & sunflower seeds... chasing it w/ a double espresso over ice! YUM! Breakfast of champions... hoping to have chicken schwarma salad for lunch. So, my day starts early today, and it will be pretty long and action packed! I may come home and crash on the couch w/ a movie! Starting early again tomorrow :blink:

In my business, we say "you have to make hay while the sun is shining" - meaning I've got to work as much as possible while the clients are there, cuz next week, next month, it might be slow! Sporadic income... gotta love it :hehe:

Hey... off the topic here, but how do I get "our story" - not the "official" timeline, to show in the bottome of my posts? Do I have to make it as part of my signature? Do tell.... thanks!

well i am at the office... and so far the day is quiet...

i have asked off from the restaurant this week... just needed a little breather...

gonna work in my garden a little bit... HEY, that reminds me... someone stole one of my hanging plants yesterday... can you believe it? that someone would actually steal a plant? oh well... i hope they enjoy it as much as i did...

And a Happy Friday to you too!. Well I am going shopping today. My son is 13, so you know what that means. He has grown a foot since last summer. He is the same height as me now. I never thought my baby would be looking me straight in the eye. None of his summer clothes fit now. He gets so angry everytime he tries to put something on. "I'm not wearing this!!!!" So off the the mall I go today. I also need to look for a weedwhacker for my yard. Have a good day everyone.

They stole your plant???? I would be heart broken!!! LOL I get so attached to things like that. Man that is some kind of weird.

I get to cover the reception desk for an hour so I'm sitting with you guys. I can't concentrate on my files with the phone ringing off the hook.

We are in the midst of the Kentucky Derby Festival here in Louisville. Two weeks of events and parties. The Great Hot Air Balloon Race is tomorrow morning, balloon glow tonight, and all the ballooners are getting their practice in this morning. I've seen such lovely colorful balloons drifting by. My thought are going with them! Hey, I even say the huge pink Energizer Bunny. Now THAT was cool. (I am a bunny freak.) Anyway, just wanted to share that with you all.
