CENOMAR / Birth Certificate

Was browsing threads and I stumbled on someone preparing 3 copies of each: CENOMAR & Birth Certificate. How many copies do the Embassy requires during the interview? I am wondering though if the other copies she prepared are photo copies and only 1 original copy for each.

Hi! The filipina pre-screener asked me to submit 1 original copy of each:NSO Birth Certificate, CENOMAR, NBI clearance.

Best to have at least 3 NSO SEPCA paper certified copies of ALL documents related to your case. You will need them when you get to the US plus one of each is a good thing to have at the interview. No need 3 CENOMAR. 2 will do. One for USEM if they ask for it and one copy for your records.

I had 2 certified copies of each though the USEM asked one of each, u need other copies when u are here in US esp the BC...goodluck!

Just bring one of each to the interview, the CENOMAR preferrably obtained a week or two before the interview.. But bring a lot of birth certificate when coming to the USA and always have a photocopy of everything.Goodluck

We ran into a slight problem yesterday. While Lenie was doing her medical, she found out that the CENOMAR was only valid for 6 months (meaning hers expired in January). I was worried we would have to get another one and delay the interview. I had her go over and ask them about it at the embassy. According to the embassy, because she has already done her DELBROS authentication, which certifies her singleness, an updated CENOMAR wasn't needed. They said we could have our interview as scheduled.

Hi there! Why obtain a few weeks before the interview? We are still waiting for our NOA2 and I have already filed my CENOMAR online which I expect to receive this week. How many months is CENOMAR valid after issuance?
