Hi.

I'm new in the bussiness and was really happy to find this site, since I have hard time to get the money for a lawyer.

I met my wife 2 years a go, she is a u.s citizen.

We came here (USA), more than two month ago to travel and to visit her parents.

I entered the U.S with my tourist visa (B1/B2).

evantually we decided to stay here since she admitted to university.

we got married last friday.. and we got the marriage certificate.

I'm now applying for AOS, but i couldn't find any "how to" directions in the site for tourist visa holders.

Do i suppose to apply for afiance visa even though I'm here in the states already?

thank you so much for anyone who can light my way through the process....

:-)

shlomi.

All forms for the I-130 and I-485 (along with the EAD and AP) get mailed to the chicago lockbox.

Make sure that you have the medical by a USCIS civil surgeon and include this in your AOS package.

shlomi.

you can apply for AOS if there wasn't any intentions of getting married when you entered the US, you can explain immigration what you just stated here, that you decided to stay since your wife got accepted to the Univ. just follow the indications on the link the last poster mentioned. There is no "how to" instructions for tourist visa holders, the differentiation is based on spouses "outside" the US and spouses "in" the US.

Good luck!
