The more you stare at their stupidity, the more angry you'll get.
Wow! Take a chill pill and list for us what you sent to them as proof of the relationship's validity. Then maybe, we could give out some pointers.

These people you call stupid are the ones you're hoping will approve the GC you so desperately seek.

For all we know, the OP's anger could stem from staring at his own stupidity.

Well, it's time to do house work and I have chilled a lot. However, I would hope:

1. If they - CSC- do read this they learn from their errors and,

2. Digital dated photos are not any better evidence then dates printed on back

3. That a very neat package in 4 sections each thin and with a cover letter could be perused in 5 min and a reasonable person would say it is a real relationship would be acceptable.

They took the time to point out that my airline tickets only show day and month so it does not prove what year I was there even though they have acknowledge my passport stamp does show this- they say the two do not show anything!!!!!!

Is it true, what they pointed out?

Your application is a priviledge, not a right. As such, you shouldn't be complaining.

Airline tickets or actual boarding passes? I received my tickets months before my trip. All that proved was that I bought the tickets, not that I actually got on the plane. I do agree that the passport stamp would seem to prove something, but not always. My own passport was stamped in the Netherlands but not in Sweden where my husband lives. If the person working on your case did not see enough to approve your case, that is a judgement call for them. I think it is probably preferable to get an RFE than a denial. It is possible that they only have part of your evidence also. The USCIS handles an immense amount of paperwork. Things do get lost .. not just there but everywhere in life. An RFE causes a slight delay, but it is just that, and often means that an approval is soon to come.

I sent:

Airline stubs and baggage tickets

Airline itineray

Motel receipt in english itimized with both our names on it

Photos with dates on the back (5)

Engagement ring recipt

Passport & Visa

1 page letter explaining how we met-online- and details on my trip

They said "though you have submitted undated photos of you with beneficiary, copies of your stamped passport, and airline ticket stubs, they alone do not establish that you have met the beneficiary inperson in the last two years immediately preceding the filing of the petition. The airline stubs do not show the year, so it is not possiable to determine if the meeting was within the two-year period"

even if I forgot to date the photos the cover page on top of the photos listed/ discribed each one its place and date taken.

They recommonded I supply motel recipt, airline itineray, creditcard statements, dated photos-which apparently means digital date on print-

They have also asked me to elaborate on how we meet 3/4 of a page just was not enough.

By the way USG employies work for us and are paid by our taxes so I do expect fair and reasonable treatment. They would not have jobs if there were no visa's to procces.

The point I and many others made was 'your cover letter may have become detached' as well as 'some of your documents may have been misplaced'

This is a fairly long process all things considered and there will be many times no doubt that you find waiting and wondering a big trial but if you go at them full of anger and 'I demand', and 'I pay your wages' I doubt you will put straight to the top of the pile.

It CAN be frustrating and it CAN be maddening but its out of your hands.

Remember that honey catches more bees than vinegar.

Yes thanks I intend to do that; my future sister in law is reviewing every thing with me so I am doubled checked so Monday the response is off in the mail.

The thing that worry’s me if I assume they lost 50% of what i sent an use just what they admit to havingy a reason person would say it was a good package and meet the requirements. Now I worry about the fine print i.e. I have a copy of her birth certificate with a official VN Gov translation. If you read their RFE it must state by the Translator that it is " Complete and accurate and he are she is competent to translate." So if they will not accept passport stamps and ticket stubs because the stubs do not have The year on them; even though the pass port dates and visa and ticket stubs match- and of course they do have them because they said it can not be used -I will assume they lost the airline sitinerary Is an offical sealed Gov translation Good enough because it does not have that statement???

This is what Secretary of State Colin Powell called an Exercise in futility
