I think you have to include your fiancee birth certificate also with a certified translation. I might be wrong. you should read I-129F instruction to make sure...wish you the best.

Does make you wonder and even more since VSC is less than 30 days, NSC isn't too bad, TSC is bad, and CSC is horrible.

Where do they put TSC? To the CSC!

All of us know this is horrible and feel your pain, wondering what will happen to us.

Can you let us know your dates of filing and country?

If you fill out your timeline and country of your fiance(e), maybe we can see if there's a pattern for the State where you live, country of your fiance(e), whether your I-129F was rerouted from another Service Center to the CSC, etc.

We who have sent in ours after March the first are concerned about our applications, too.

My advice.

Take a deep breath, resubmit your origional evidence and a letter saying whats there. Get it to the post office and out of eye sight. The more you stare at their stupidity the more you'll get angry. You need to quickly pick yourself up or it can really get you to an ultimate low. I've been there. Good Luck. And ...

They probably lost it all, but at least they have looked at yours and are processing it, I would just send it back in and you will probably get a NOA2 within a few weeks, good luck to you

You are doing the right thing - drinking scotch that is!

Like others have suggested; send exactly what they are asking for and be cool; if you can provide additional evidence of meeting - do so; else send copies of what you sent before (maybe it got lost.)

Your initial petition may have been too bulky - I sent in 16 pages total with one paper clip and one cover letter explaining what was in the package - Remember they don't want to spend lots of time figuring out what you have sent and how you have organized it (No one wants to spend their time doing this.) Almost everyone wants a simple organized packet that they can page through, verify and approve. Your having sent multiple cover letters for each section may have thrown them off and they may have just looked at the first cover letter and said - He didn't send anything! Entiende? But of course you need to send what you feel comfortable with.

No, I don't believe they are stupid but I sympathize with your feelings - you need to understand how they work and make it easier for them to approve your case and yes they almost always do - very few are denied from what I can conclude!

You're right - you're wrong. The birth certificate of the beneficiary is not a basic requirement of the I-129f petition and is nowhere asked for in the petition instructions.

However, an adjudicator can (and should) ask for additional documentation as may be necessary to satisfy themself that the petition is approvable and the CSC is infamous for asking for the beneficiaries birth certificate. Speculation abounds as to why they want it but, whatever the reason why, they ask for it often enough that it's prudent to provide it with the petition even though the instructions don't ask for it.

Sorry about your RFE. We got it too back in January, although we sent lots of evidence. All you can do is send what they ask for, can't argue with them unfortunately.

The good new for us was that they approved us within 10 days of receiving our RFE. Funny thing was they initally said that I will have to go for interview in Australia, and I live in Canada. It was all straightened out, but it does take lots of patience.

Well its time to do house work and I have chilled allot however I would hope

1. If they - CSC- do read this they learn from their errors and,

2. Digital dated photos are not any better evidence then dates printed on back

3. That a very neat package in 4 sections each thin and with a cover letter could be perused in 5 min and a reasonable person would say it is a real relationship would be acceptable.

They took the time to point out that my airline tickets only show day and month so it does not prove what year I was there even though they have acknowledge my passport stamp does show this- they say the two do not show anything!!!!!!

So I agree they are most likely not stupid but pray tell what word describes this type of thinking??????????

They probably lost half your packet... just send them everything again and try not to fret about it. At least RFEs are usually attended to promptly once they get there.
