CSC are they that stupid WTF RFE!!!!!!

Well I just got the rfe today in the mail and so ya all know am on my 2ed glass of scotch and one cigar. I AM PISSED!!!!!!!!!! I need proof of our relationship!!!!!!!!! Every thing they said I could use was in my initial package!!!! ARE THEY TO STUPID TO READ!!!!!! I am not good with paperwork so I spent several days and many hours insuring it was exact and correct. I used a 4 section folder with 2 whole punch holders and in each of the 4 sections a cover page explaining what was under that page in nice bold type. I sent photos that I thought had dates on the back, they clam they are undated, and to boot the cover page listed each photo and date taken so once again ####### ARE THEY THAT STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They suggested motel receipts!!!!! Once again it was there in English with dates and also described in top page for that section. They said send us airline itinerary and once again the they missed the fact IT WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And on the cover page as well. Please excuse my language but if their are that stupid or incompetent is there any hope???????????????? Also please tell me if a birth cert is required for the fiancée??????? As I read the instructions it is only needed for the USC and they provide theirs at the consulate interview so I did not include hers and they also want a copy of that!!!!!!!

I will get all the info out tommorow BUT WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE OUR TAXES SUPPORT???????????????????????

oh boy....this is ridiculas......my fiance never sent my birth cert...it wasnt asked for....egads!!!!...i heard someone recieved there pkg back..because the check..which was in the right amount...BUT...wasnt in the right place....im getting a little scared right now....i seem to stay awake at nite...just going over in my head, seeing if we did everything they asked.....i am sooo sorry to hear that....hope all goes better from now on..

I feel for ya, but the thing is you have NO idea what happened to your documents after they arrived. Did some become detached? Did they get stuck to the back of other pages and get missed?

Did your cover letter get lost?

You don't know.

Maybe it WAS incompetance and maybe not - I know its annoying but your patience is going to be tested a LOT during this process..you have to take a breath, mutter swear words and just DO what they ask.

Don't risk blowing a vein over this stuff; you have ways to go yet.

Sorry to read your news. I didn't include a cover letter or bind it in any way. I only sent in our pictures and my copies of my boarding pass. I would think that would prove you have met within the two year time frame. It just doesn't seem fair but we must play by any rules they throw at us. I think you only have to send in the birth certificate of the USC. I hope you can comply with what they want, it seems the only thing you can do. Good Luck.

Sounds like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. You aren't the first person on here who has submitted all the necessary evidence only to receive an RFE for exactly the same evidence. Hope you get it resolved soon!

I am thinking they may have misplaced the proof you send. They loose stuff sometimes. Just resubmitt everything you have and see if you can find something else to send along.

Sounds like to me they lost some of your information.

It also sounds like to me that they want more proof of having met within the past two years. This is the number one reason RFE's are generated at this stage.

Photos are okay but have limited value in terms of proving the "in the past two years" part of the requirement. Photos are what the USCIS calls "secondary" evidence; evidence that alone by itself does not prove anything.

Primary evidence are things such as passport entry/exit stamps, airline ticket stubs, hotel reciepts, CC reciepts showing charges in country/place of interest. These are documenary proofs that are difficult to fake.

This has happened so many times to people here, it's ridiculous. RFE's asking for things that were already sent in the initial petition. Every time I've read of that happening, the people just sent in copies of the things they were asking for (you did keep a copy of your entire I-129F submission, right?), even though they were already included in the initial petition. Once they did, the petitions were approved.

So don't get mad, just play their little game and get on to the next waiting game.
