Since its apparent that many here give a rats rear end about the conditions that create the illegal immigration- through Mexico or in the USA, in the first place I think it odd how there is a rush to poke fun at the symptomatic behavior that describes the situation as it unfolds.

Well, usually when there is a problem with the way our friends do things overseas, action is taken to correct the issue. Apparently someone is making too many profits in Mexico for our elected officials to actually do anything about correcting the issue... but that is part of the crux of the problem ain't it? We can always poke fun at others' misery and rely on our perspectives to rule out and/or ignore actually doing something to prevent the problem to begin with.
