Security checks and AP are two different things. My husband had his security checks first. AP started once those were finished. So to answer your question...no, security checks are not the last leap before the visa. I don't think anyone really knows what the last leap is. For us it was the movement certificate but for others it's something else.

alrighty....i think I am about to collapse from sadness...but its ok because this too shall pass...

i just called DOS...she asked me for my information (I got Sue again)...and she recognized me :D but then she said well let's see here...everything looks fine...they did checks...we did checks...but yesterday February 28th they requested security checks from Washington DC :crying: i told her but wasn't AP just completed...she said yes but they want checks and until they get what they need they cannot issue the visa...i told her so what now...she said call back next week to make sure they are pending...and as long as checks are pending you have to wait for them to be completed before Cairo will issue the visa...:(

oh well...i guess it was expected from cairo... but my question is...are "security checks" different than "AP or AR"???? or are they the same thing...are security checks kind of like the last leap before the visa...or is it just a synonym for AP...rabena ma3aya we ma3ana...God be with us all...and give me the patience to get through this...I need my hubby ASAP...life has been rough lately...and for me to not have him by my side is absolutely terrible :( just pray for us...and of course all of you are in my prayers :) COME ON CAIRO!!!!!!!

btw DOS is giving a lot more info lately...other than the standard AP message...i wonder why???

Why can't I ever get Sue????

I was wondering the same thing!

Whenever I call, I ask about the checks. Im always told those have been completed.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

::It’s you...It’s you...Baby it’s you::
