Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

Im sitting here looking at all this snow, wondering how the heck am I supposed to go out and shovel it all. I better start swilling more coffee.

I wish everyone a good day today, filled with hope and optimism ! Those who are feeling under the weather, those who have been overcome with worry, my prayer for you all this morning was that healing come to your bodies and that we all receive a good measure of mercy,strength, endurance, and a faith that will be renewed starting today. More importantly, I thank God for each and everyone of you! :yes:

Good Morning everyone. A wish for a happy Tuesday and more good news for everyone. I am calling DOS today, I am a little nervous but what the hay.......lol. Wish me luck!!! :):unsure:;)

Our timeline:

September 29, 2005.......met online.

October and November 2006......was in Egypt with my sweetie.

November 1, 2006......We were married.

December 2006........I-130 filed

January 2007...........I-129 filed

April 2007................I-130 and I-129 approved

June 14, 2007.........Visa interview completed

December 2, 2007.....Home interview

February 12, 2008........Second interview

February 26, 2008....I was called by the embassy and was given a short interview over the phone and was told that my case will be moved forward and someone would contact my husband soon to send in his passport.

March 2, 2008......My husband was contacted by the embassy to send in his passport.

March 3, 2008......Passport sent by DHL.

March 4, 2008......Embassy received the passport.

March 18, 2008......VISA IN HAND!!! YEAH!!

August 15, 2008....filed I-485 adjustment of Status and I-765...Employment Authorization

October 14, 2008.....I-765...Employment Authorization approved, card received 1 month later.

January 15, 2009......Adjustment of Status interview for green card...approved!!! Received green card two weeks later.

In case you don't have the system down yet, dial 1-202-663-1225, then when the dude starts talking press 1, then press 0. You'll probably be on hold for ten minutes but have your case number (the one starting with "CRO" ready to give the operator). They'll ask you the name of your husband and maybe the interview date. Then they might say "the case is undergoing administrative processing". After they say that sniff a little like you've been cryin' and ask if there's been any movement that they can tell.

im glad yesterday was over, i dont know what it was but i was giving off electric shocks all day yesterday! :blink: I'm hoping im static free today...lol

lol I've had those days too! It gets to the point that you just don't wanna get up 'cause you know everything you touch will give you a shock!! Must have been the shoes you were wearing. I get that when I wear my Ugg boots to work.

I hope you are healing from your illness as well! What the heck are you doing shoveling though??? Get some kid on the street to do it and rest!

Happy Flippin' Tuesday! meh meh meh..dunno whats worse..workin in a place where ur treated like ####### .. or going home to a kid who can't do simple math problems due to the lack of "will" to actually use his brain AND arguing with the spouse over money , loans, business...ARGGGGGG i need to get away from EVERYBODY!!!!GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

sorry..i'm in a baaad mood today :( Thanks for letting me vent. Anyone want a visitor for a week? I need to get away :crying:

oh me me me ....amal..pick me! Come to Illinois. Just got 6 inches last night---oh yea. And I know how you love snow. We won't do math problems, we won't talk about businesses or money. New business in town, Hookah Time Cafe, I think it is calling our name...lol.

I am pretty much snowed in. I do not own a shovel. There is a driveway full of snow behind my car. At 29 degrees, I don't see it melting off any time soon. grrrrrr and brrrrrr I am gonna look so poor sweeping my drive with a broom. La Princessa will lay in the window and watch all the time laughing on the inside, crazy human.

Until then.....I'm gonna make some hot chocolate.

do you have a flat tip shovel? those work too just not as good as a snow shovel as they pick up less snow.
