Hello everyone.

I haven't been on much the past two weeks because I've had alot going. Many of you know about my losing my furry babies a couple of weeks ago. And that has been tough for me to deal with. But also, my uncle has been in the hospital since the 8th. He had surgery to remove cancer in his esophagus. It was a very difficult surgery and he never woke up from it. His age, diabetes and the fact that he has only one kidney has worked against him. He's had many difficult days over the last two weeks. We lost him Sunday afternoon. His poor body had fought so hard to get well again, but his heart just gave out. My aunt and uncle are pillars of faith and there isn't a doubt that he's in better place with no more pain. My aunt and uncle raised me and he was my other "dad". This has been yet another devastating loss in my life. I'm still recovering from the loss of my father a little over a year ago. I've been at the hospital so much the last couple of weeks that I have not packed yet for the trip. I am up this morning to get that done since the visitation is tonight and the funeral is tomorrow. :(

My son and I are leaving Thursday to fly to Maroc to visit my husband's family. Hicham DOES have a ticket for the same flight back. After so many times of having to say goodbye at the gate, this time he will walk through with us. This is a moment we've worked hard for during the last four years.

Hicham's father passed out last week and when they took him to the doctor, they found that he had very high blood pressure and kidney problems. Hicham was already saddened to leave his parents because he is the one son that really takes care of them. This is such a hard moment for both of us because we've dreamed about the moment that we would be a family again for a really long time...but with all that is going on in both of our lives right now, we are both struggling to find the joy in the moment. I know that once we are actually together and we are coming home that we will feel it. Our hearts are just really heavy at the moment.

Please pray us over and pray us back safely. We will have precious cargo on the return flight since it will be my son, my husband and my mother flying back with me. Inshallah, the next time I post, Hicham will be back in the States with us!

I hope that while I am gone, that many here will receive some answers on their cases. For all of you waiting, KNOW that dreams do come true and there really is an end to this nightmare!(L)

Allousa,

You have been in my prayers, and surely I will continue to lift your name up before God. We will never understand why bad things happen to good people, but never loose HOPE that in some way, at some time things WILL get better. Just remember the foot prints in the sand. (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Is your mom going with your or joining you during the trip? So happy that Hicham got a ticket with you. Check in early so you can get seats together!!! I'd be on his lap before I'd let him sit separate from me after all that...
